Saw Teddy last night at the Waikiki Shell in Hawaii, heard this song for the very first time it brought tears to my eyes, because my husband of 28 years passed away 9 months ago would say the same kind of words in this song to me. This song was almost too much for me to handle. My husband always said you look amazing or you're so beautiful, even if I wasn't feeling very beautiful. He told me time and time again that he was proud that I was his wife and always, always said I love you when he went out the door or hung up after talking with me on the phone. I started to take it for granted, it was just something we always did every day. After 38 years together I lost him very suddenly in 2021. Oh how I wish I could hear him tell me that I look amazing or I love you babe just one more time.
