I have a Australian Shepherd mix who was rescued/with over 100 siblings from a hoarder. She was fostered by a lady who has 3 dogs, and runs a dog-daycare. This lady swears that the hoarded dog watched her dogs and became VERY curious that they interacted so much with her. A few days of watching, decompressing...a few treats tossed to her, and the transformation began. This girl now (2.5 years later) demands belly rubs, plays, goes on car rides, goes in pet-friendly stores like she owns them, dog parks etc. At over 5 years old, she started learning how to be a real dog. Now she just owns me, totally.

Welcome to a far better life, Teddy. Thank you, Lee, for all you do. As a proud husky parent I know the level of commitment a husky demands and they're certainly not a fit for everyone. It breaks my heart to see such a gorgeous dog who is so uncertain and scared with the world around him - but knowing he is in a place where he will flourish and grow into a far better doggo fills my heart with joy.

I have a rescue from Bahrain who is of men especially on the street she shivers uncontrollably! Inside the house especially with me the female she’s great we have had her for 6 years! She would benefit from a situation like yours! We adore her and have no plans to rehome her except if something happened to me then my wish would be for her to come to you! I pray this never happens!

when he stepped on the grass from the car he behaved like he'd never stepped on grass before. We had a rescue from a breeders which behaved the same, had never been out of his cage, no human contact, terrified of outside. Thank you so much, wish the world thought more like you.
