It was a blast to watch this! Sadly, there were some real hits/jams that I thought would be played from both sides, BUT they weren't used! Honestly, I think a more 'even', 'nail biter' or 'closer' battle would've been between Babyface vs. Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis! Remember the end of Captain America: Civil War when Cap was beating the hell out of Iron Man until his suit was able to scan Cap's fighting pattern to develop a counter strategy? Then after it was done, Tony was able to beat the hell out of Steve? That's how I felt about this battle! Teddy came out SWINGING, but Babyface was only throwing a few light jabs (GREAT songs but they were 'soft' compared to what Teddy was handing him). Then as the battle went out that was when Babyface came in with the heavy blows! Dangerous is my FAVORITE album cover of all time, but it doesn't have that many MJ songs that I love (Remember The Time is great, but Jam/In The Closet...meh songs and Dangerous is one I love in his live performances but they aren't on my Top 15 lists or anything...). Babyface pulled out the Whitney Houston at the end and you KNEW it was a wrap! Hell, I WISH they'd do an extended battle with like 20+ songs or something each just because it was a GREAT time! It doesn't matter who came out on top because those numbers from the live were incredible and it felt like a time machine for everyone involved! Honestly, I don't know I know of any match up that could get that many views. However, only time will tell if that is the case.
