What is the pointe of ballet? Ladies and gentlemen let me elaborate 1. It is one of the product of marriage between ART and SPORT (the other product? Other dance genre of course) 2. If you are telling dancers that dance is not a sport, or in this case Ballet. Try walking on this shoes called Pointe, on your tippy toes, and tell us if your legs doesn't feel like cramping and your toe nails doesn't feel like falling off. 3. Just like reading, you can escape and experience variation of stories. You can be a marionette, a swan, a princess, a witch, a queen, a fairy, a soldier, and so many more. 4. Ballet can be enjoyed by many people. From early age such as 5 year old even until you are old At least there are those. There are ups and downs, but ballet will always be one of the best part of my life 💛

Nv Loz you know, while i disagree with the fact that it is a sport, I want to thank you. You gave a very good reason. People have told me the following, dance is not a sport because it is easy. Or that dance is something anyone can be amazing at, so it is not a sport. The definition if sport is a competitive physical activity. Ballet can be competitive. You could also play soccer non competitively, and it would still be a sport. I know this is long, but I think It does an ok job at explaining.
