I remember having 'staring at the sun' contests with my friend on the bus ride from school to home. Nothing really happened to us, we did not go blind or anything. The longer we stared at it, we noticed dark spots dancing and it did look like butterflies. I was really amazed to see this video, it explained a lot!

At about 1:20 or so, you said that 2 oxygen molecules get fused to form helium. That's not possible for at least a few reasons. One, molecules don't fuse, nuclei do. Two, fusing two oxygen nuclei together simply can't produce helium, they're to heavy. Three, the sun's core simply not hot enough. But do you know what it is hot enough to fuse? Two hydrogen nuclei into helium. Cheers!
