The bit with mazda taillights is interesting (I mean it wasn't uncommon for many exotic sportscars to loan some parts from cars for masses, but still)! I think you've meant 323 though (took me a while looking at 626 rear light photos on google until I've accidentally found out 😂)

My growing appreciation for wooden trim tells me I'm inexorably getting older. 😅 Beautiful spec, I absolutely love what's going on on the interior. I also really like the roundness of the whole body. Such a happy, ginormous Miata, literally screaming it's a 1990s/2000s car with all these shapes. Would I like to get one myself? No. Would I enjoy it if someone handed me the keys to one of these? Absolutely yes.

My favourite Aston Martin of all time is the late 2000s era DBS with this glorious 5.9L V12. Yes it is old fashioned (it doesn't even have VVT) and 510hp isn't really much for a supercar, but with its superstar looks and Casino Royale Bond connection paired with that glorious sound, do you care?

Glad you mentioned the starter noise on the V12, I’ve always loved it too and it makes them feel more special. Wonder what makes it sound like that.

What a gorgeous car. With those wheels, if you look quickly, it almost looks identical to an XK8/R, even though I have never viewed them as looking similar. X100 XKR is one of my childhood hero cars (Thanks NFS), but I never really loved the DB7. Looking forward to watching the rest of this one!
