My mom has a normal moderate lease spec 4cyl f-pace. The loaner cars at our dealer are all similar f-paces, I’ve done a lot of things while having fun on dirt roads in the loaner f-pace, that chassis is so good for an SUV, svr with stiffer suspension and the glorious V8 must be killer! Velar and F-pace are on a modular jag platform used with the xf and xe, RR sport is a Range Rover underneath.

I love Range Rovers to death, if only they would fix their reliability. I think like 9/10 friends of mine that had Defender, Discovery, Range Rover all had really bad issues with the cars. Btw if you happend to get your hands on one, please review the "same engine" Jaguar XF-R. I had the pleasure to test drive one back in '12 and it still scares me to this day.

The engineers were ex Williams F1 people. They amended the torque so instead of increasing in a curve as normal it increases almost vertically from almost idle speed.

Great review and totally agreed that the RRS SVR is awesome. Land Rover will stop using the 5.0 litre engine in the upcoming facelift model, so the current RRS SVR may well remain as popular as ever in future because of that 5.0 litre engine.

If you’re talking about unreliability it’s the electrical gremlins and nothing else! Also don’t ever buy a LR soon after it release. Wait 2-3 years and then get the vehicle you won’t have issues I believe

Fun fact the SVR was actually tuned around the Nürburgring track back when it came out to be classified the fastest SUV in the world for the longest time that’s why it can handle corners so well it was literally made to be a “super” luxury suv lol 😂

Just FYI, the RRS are all sports. You drove the supercharged dynamic or P525 with 518 BHP. This is SVR, the other sports are HST 395 BHP turbo 6 or 350 bhp turbo 6. Now 2023 next gen RRS have changed. Nice job

This is fast enough. Yes its 4.5 to 60 much slower then the competition but that's due to a lack of launch control. IF you do a really good break boost you can get it down to 4 and after that it keeps up. If you really push it on the highway it can hit 300kph. It also feels faster then an x5m even tough it isn't because of how high you are sitting. It can keep up with the Germans. And those cars arent really real suvs and have nothing on this offroad. Its real competitior is a g63. They are about equal in speed eventough this beast has a much better engine. Also the p525 feels and is much slower due to tuning.

Such lights are controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM). That means the leds aren't turned on all the time, but rather flash in a frequency that make them seem like they are for the human eye. If Tedwards camera records in a different frequency or catches the Lights in the "wrong moment" they're "off rythm" and therefor appear to be flashing. So if Tedwards Camera records with 100FPS (frames per second) and the PWM Frequency is 450hz for example, the camera will catch the LEDs not glowing for a slight moment and record that. The same can happen on modern tail- and headlights. English isnt my first language so excuse the rather unneccessary lengthy answer.

I always loved the Jaguar-Land Rover 5.0L Supercharged V8s. Saddest parts about them is that they have bad reliability and JLR is doing away with the ICEs later down the road. Enjoy them while they can.
