The media play an important role in informing people about mental health. This talk explores how some of the messages and images in the media, particularly the press, encourage a link between mental illness and dangerousness and the negative impact that this can have on people's lives. Matt Bowen is a mental health nurse and academic who has researched the media's representations of mental health. What were the most frequent words used in press about diabetes?

An interesting question. I didn't analyse this as I was interested in the representation of mh, and the software I used only analyses in one chosen direction, so it didn't automatically present itself, but in the future, I'll check in both directions.
