This man is one of the only teachers I had in high school that actually made a difference for me. I was really horrible at math but instead of him giving up on me, he worked with me through my lunch period, three of my free periods and my math class with him almost everyday. He never gave up on me and is the only teacher that really stuck with me. Thanks a lot Mr. DeGraaf!

I'm a sophomore in high school right now, and I've wanted to be a Ranger ever since 4th grade, this really encourages me to strive on at becoming a Ranger. "Energetically, I will face the enemies of my country" gives me chills.

Absolutely great morals to learn from military veterans. They truly are our hero’s. Still there shouldn’t be any need for military personal across the world because we should be aiming to stop all wars and conflicts.

2nd, Bravo Co as I recall. I'll ask him and make sure I'm right. I received a letter, addressed to me, from Major McChrystal welcoming my son into his command and I still have the letter. Who knew he would eventually become JSOC commander and later a 4 star general. My son used to tell me that at the age of 38, McChrystal used to do more PT than the 21 year old Rangers. Pretty impressive. I am really impressed with all the US special Operation forces. I was in the Air Force but it is nothing in terms of physical training and difficult when compared to Special Operators and Marines. Thanks for your service and thanks for a great TED talk.

If I had to pick a creed the world would live by it be the warrior ethos "I will always place the mission first, I will never accept defeat, I will never quit, and I will never leave a fallen comrade." Something which I’ve seen in my time of the service being not taken to heart when I serve.

It is. When your job is to seize airfields in hostile territory, nab high profile terrorists, go days on end without food or sleep, and rescue navy seals (lower case for a reason) you have to have a cult like brotherhood. Sua Sponte...RLTW!
@Aikidoman06
@Aikidoman06 6 жыл бұрын
Of course it does. It's because you're a coward. You can't understand it because you are the center of the universe, an individual, selfish and scared. You will never understand. It's not a cult, it's brotherhood far beyond silly frat boy games. If you can't step up, just stay silent.
