Completely identify with this experience. My HS teacher told me "Being smart only takes you so far." Took me 10+ years to fully understand what he meant.

Yeshua Christ, I believe, the point of the speech was to encourage us to "DO WHAT WE'RE SUPPOSED TO DO," to understand the value that structure has in identifying OUR PRIORITY GOALS. And, by doing so, WE will be more efficient/effective at accomplishing OUR priorities (GOALS). How and where Mr. Bomani Jones stands during a presentation is a distraction from the lesson of the importance of structure.

That was a very good speech. Structure can unlock creativity. I fail to see how this has worked for him however. I do not think that droning on ad naseum about deflate gate, droning on ad naseum about where Kevin Durant might end up, or yucking it up with Dan Lee Betard on that hacky, hacky show they have are creative expressions. I would have been interested in hearing what his sister has to say about unlocking creativity. She is an author of several critically acclaimed novels. Bomani authors reviews on Kanye's The Life of Pablo and Beyonce's Lemonade.
