This treatment saved my life! I did it myself after relying on doctors who knew nothing about this treatment. I had C-diff for almost two years. It's not "swallowing" the poop it's an enema and it's not a big deal. If you're sick enough, you'll do anything to save your life!

This is awesome. I wish I'd known about this talk. In 2016 my wife had been diagnosed with bipolar I disorder for a number of years and had tried taking her life on a number of occasions. Her medication stopped her psychosis and suicidality but gave her no quality of life. I figured that her childhood trauma and overuse of antibiotics could have knocked her gut microbiome out so we decided to do FMT- I was the donor. We were the first people in the world to do it for mental health issues as far as we can tell. Anyhow, she's been off all medications and symptom-free for seven years now. Before FMT, being off medication for even two days meant she was off to a psych ward. Fortunately her psychiatrist published her case history.

I'm heading to the UK in a couple of days, to the Taymount Clinic, for my third round of FMT treatment. I was diagnosed with CFS and IBS-C after years of antibiotics and accutane, for acne, tonsillitis, and recurrent chest infections. So far it has almost cured my fatigue, and my IBS is greatly improved, but I will continue the treatment until I am fully cured, and I have total faith that it will do the job.
@DJShearer
@DJShearer 8 жыл бұрын
I live in the Channel Islands, however, there are many people who travel to the UK from the US to have this treatment, as the FDA has classed it as a 'drug', and only allow it's use for the treatment of C-Diff.
@DJShearer
@DJShearer 8 жыл бұрын
I noticed a difference almost immediately, and don't have much of a problem with fatigue anymore, the main thing I suffer with now is IBS. Not sure what you define as post exertion malaise, but I had a long spell where I would get home from work and immediately fall asleep.

The FDA is bought and paid for by Big Pharma. Everyone at the top of the FDA, every political appointee, is working for one pharmaceutical company or another. The actual scientists and other low and mid-level employees are usually good people but also not often brave enough to blow the whistle on corruption (which destroys their careers and has the government try to persecute them one way or another.) But there's been quite a few FDA whistleblowers..

A lot of stuff isn't even approved by the FDA but still sells though. Anyway you can get a bidet attachment or a portable bidet(squeeze bottle...) very cheaply on amazon (3 - 30$). Thank you for sharing this. I told my family about FMT a few years ago when my father was dying and had C. Diff. There was even a town in his state where they could get it but the doctors would not follow up on it. I feel it is criminal that they are letting so many people dye when the "cure" for most of them is so simple.

My Dr is in Meridian, and Boise, Idaho. This was the first thing he tried for me. I had been on very expensive antibiotics from my regular Dr after having to be hospitalized for it. I had read about it in my Lab journals, but I never thought I would get one. It makes sense from my microbiology background. This should be nation wide. It works.

It's the same with cancer. There is a patented cure available for 10.000 Dollar, it healed all the patients in the trials. Still doctors 'heal' with chemo and radiation which yields up to 300.000 dollars a year and has many side effects so the treatment of them produces even more profit. The people with money call the shots.
