1) Adversity is not personal 2) Teach Forgiveness (No anger, fear, self-loathing) 3) “I see you” 4) It is OK to need other people

Go get them girl... Everybody needs to be aware of this. Everyone needs to try at least a little bit.. Which would go a long way. For the most important thing on this planet Are children. Don't stop spreading your message.

This is INCREDIBLE. I'm a college professor teaching a course on child development. Resilience is an important piece of the course and this video is now an integral part of my course!

Mrs. Lewis you are absolutely right! Struggling is a part of life....Forgivenenss, great to learn that as a child, and "I truly see you"... and it's okay to need other people! Very smart and wise of you Mrs. Lewis...thank you for your excellent effort teaching adults and kids how to love and be more resilient ....You have a very nice way of being so down to earth and authentic, and that is why you are a superb human being.....Wishing you much joy 💟

Thank you! Ive been saying for years that the schools should have required classes thst teach emotional intelligence and resilience and mindfulness and all that good stuff because that is when there is the oppertunity to influence almost every single person in the country. Psrents should some do... most try...but many dont heve the knowledge or the capacity or the patience or whatever to teach or guide them to be stronger.

The real fact of resilience in children is that it is the ability to bounce back from adversity, adapt to change, and effectively cope with challenges by developing emotional, cognitive, and behavioral skills, often fostered through supportive relationships and a nurturing environment. Resilience enables children to maintain positive well-being and thrive despite difficult circumstances.
