Leading the post tea break lineup was the stand up comic Amit Tandon. With his fun filled anecdotes and impeccable timing, Amit smoothly conveyed how peer pressure was a slow form of suicide. The hall was rollicking throughout the entirety of his talk.
An engineer & MBA by qualification, Amit Tandon is known as “the married guy” in the stand-up comedy circuit. Switching effortlessly between Hindi and English, Amit's humor is universal - connecting with all segments of audience, be it middle class, middle aged, young-at-heart to young college going crowds.Amit is a regular at the Best of Stand up lineup at The Comedy Store, Mumbai. He is also the host of for 'Grandmasters of Comedy', one of the longest running comedy nights in India.

Peer pressure ! Very true ! I remember once I got first rank in 4th Stabdard and my dad got results from another kid from different school and started comparing my results with his and sent me tution where that kid used go ! These things are real !

Amit Tandon is a good stand-up comedian. His stuffy audience here did not respond well, so, like an efficient stage performer, he improvised half way through by getting into the stereotype Tedx format. Fortunately, he did that very well.
