Sung and unsung heroes, local and national, share their diverse gifts with an inspired audience at TEDxTughlaqRd. TEDxTughlaqRd follows the celebrated TED format of brilliant curation, multidisciplinary talks and performances and power packed sessions of 'ideas worth spreading.'An awaited TEDx event on the Delhi calendar- TEDxTughlaqRd brings to you an evening of pure inspiration.
An Engineer, an MBA from IIT-Delhi, Amit Tandon took the path less taken of a stand-up comedian as he was driven by the thrill to make people laugh. Comedy gives him the opportunity to share his pains with the world and earn some money in the process. He is also the Host for Grandmasters of Comedy, one of the longest running Stand Up Comedy shows in India. He is Managing Director, Empyrean Partners (HR Consulting Firm) and also a Partner @ Mind Cafe, First Board Games cafe of India.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that brings people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I listened to your talk on Peer Pressure. As always I enjoyed. My experience is I could never fathom for all my below their expectation performance in studies the refrain was पढ़ ले नहीं तो नौकरी नहीं मिलेगी!!! I could never understand why they always said Naukri and not success in any business. Than I realised one day it was bcs we were ruled for for 1000 yrs so it is in our blood to be somebody's nauker only not master. By the way I m too a punjabi.

This is because of what society thinks of being successful. If in a society money only or economic profit becomes the sole objective then obviously the person who is more equipped to do is male as he does need to be present and make children learn etc.. So if u see in ancient india the goal of society was not economic profit so people never thought anything about as such. But now women can at least go on job as technology has made man's brawn useless so now women can work and earn a living. For more wisdom u need sadhguru videos. Don't judge me or him by one video.. OK. And then comment.
