Bayan Ko | UP Concert Chorus | TEDxDiliman

The UP Concert Chorus, fresh from their winning the Grand Prize of the 6th International Krakow Choir Festival in Poland last July 2015, where they were the only Asian choir among 24 choirs from 10 countries, delivered this passionate rendition of a classic nationalist song at TEDxDiliman last October 11, 2015.
The UP Concert Chorus, UPCC, or simply Korus, is the official choir of the University of the Philippines. As an internationally-competitive performing group, Korus has perfected versatility in singing classical, folk, pop and Broadway musical genres with signature vibrant choreography.

Piano renders the arrangement relatable by all Filipinos from all walks of life with most of the song’s part in C major while the choir expressed the nationalism of the song through sophisticated higher registry keys. The quality of the voices is top notch. God bless these talented singers!
