a great professor who keeps his views liberally by indepth understanding of Mahatma Gandhi , Netaji Bose and also an opinion about Nathuram Godse and he comes from JNU , sad part is Media didn't give him attention at all rather they made a Hero out of that Traitor Kanhaiya. I think we need professors like Paranjapee jee in politics rather than those pseudo rebels who cant bolster their claims by logical reasoning rather beg for support and sympathy from communist parties.

Nobody is questioning Netaji's patriotism and valor but to say he is more relevant to India's Independence than Gandhi is a bit of a stretch and smacks of regional pride blindsiding the Truth. Even before Netaji so many valorous kings and leaders had fought the Mughals and the British and sacrificed their lives. If the world pays homage to India today and looks up to India as a moral superpower, it's because his nonviolent resistance to the Colonial occupation thoroughly exposed to the world what real civilization means and what a barbaric colonial power the British were. In other words, despite a thousand years of brutal and barbaric occupation, India by and large remained a moral superpower and a Jagathguru, thanks to Mahatma Gandhi.

He believed the shock of his death would bring an end to the communal violence. In some ways it did. When Madanlal Pahwa threw a bomb at Gandhi's meeting, it was clear that there is risk to his life. Patel as home minister imposed security around his residence and insisted everyone be searched before entering the prayer meetings; but Gandhi overruled his orders and said nobody should be searched; if someone believes in killing me, be it. That is why I think he was suicidal.
