I have been looking for a "talk" like this for a long time. Someone who had *this* view of things and could explain it in *this* way. Following this "talk" was like meeting a brother. In my professional life, I am a software developer. Developing software requires a natural tendency to *simplify*, even to the point of *cutting out* everything that is not necessary, and a natural tendency to avoid mistakes, rather than chasing perfection. You can therefore understand why I have recognized myself so much in this "talk." Thanks to TED Talks for offering it, and thanks to William Green for this contribution.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. As a long term investor, the key to winning is "diversification". You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. An associate of mine lost almost half of his inheritance in the very recent Luna crypto saga. Personally, as one who has been into Real Estates for as long as I can remember, I made my first million earlier this year from stocks alone (through the help of a pro though). I also experiment with a couple of other things. Imagine what the situation would had been given the real estates market if I were solely banking on it.

This is a great talk. Also, I completely understand not investing in what you don't understand, but I also believe you can't ignore an entire asset class, so you might wanna give Bitcoin a good investigation. Consider the possibility that there is a non zero risk of maintaining a zero position in Bitcoin. If nothing else, consider that if the thesis is correct, a 1% allocation could hedge your bonds, like Mass Mutual and New York Life are doing. Or 10% if you can get behind Paul Tudor Jones' more aggressive recommendation. You mention Bill Miller, well, he has a relatively large position in Bitcoin as well. These are some of the most risk averse institutions and greatest macro investors of all time. What do they know that you don't?

I get you! Finding the right pro can be challenging. I partner with *OLIVIA Charlotte OSWALD.* I found her on the CBNC interview, looked her up and we began our awesome partnership.

I tested c++ programming. This is understandable. Now I’m creating strategies on pluto io as it is a lot more easier to get started and quicker to test theories without spending days. I also tried trader, etc. with limited profits.

I have been investing for 30 years now. Started my career on Wall Street. I will share some free advice with all of you. One, avoid scammers and get rich quick schemes. Financial scams will not only wipe you out financially but will mentally scar you forever. Second, invest in income producing ETF's and closed end funds. You make money like "real estate rental income" in both good and bad times. A good book on this topic "The income factory". And finally, spend less than what you make and don't take on debt. Hope this helps. All the best to you. 😊

Most of these Billionaires are told by their Billionaire mates which stocks to buy before they move, they get a call that says we are about to move stock XYZ so get in now!!! Their not investing gods they just get in the right circles.

Even with the economic recession and downturn. I'm so happy I've been earning $60,000 Returns from my $8000 investment on short term with Mrs Shay.
