Both Tee and Trey seem to have a good relationship with team despite contract situations. Speaks to culture and the organization overall.

Yes Love Tee Higgins attitude! He was so fun as a Rookie talking about how he grew up a Bengals fan , due to THE DYNAMIC Chad Johnson! LOVE this! Imagine....This year , dream team Chase Tee Burrow Superbowl. They all come together Unselfishly and stay together as The NFL Dynasty! That's a dream... Why not dream? Championships are sometimes more important that upfront money. Ask The GOAT Brady. Winning is EVERYTHING

That's huge. Signing now means he can be fined for not practicing (the mandatory stuff) so that tells you he wants to play. Wants to ball out for his next contract. It's a great day to be a Bengal fan!

hate to be the bearer of bad news. But Higgins in not getting an extension. He and his agent want $30 million a year. That is not happening,in Cincinnati. They simply can't afford 2 wr making $30 million each.Plus Higgins isn't worth it.This is the same thing, they did with Bates.draft his replacement,a year before ,they let him leave. That would be Jermaine Burton.Who had he not had off the field concerns.Would have been a 1st round,or high 2nd round pick.

Ted Karras is the number 8 center in the NFL according to PFF. Karras was the 4th best pass blocking center last year according to PFF. Karras was also the highest graded offensive lineman on the team last year according to PFF. Now I know PFF isn’t like gospel or anything but they are pretty accurate. They watch every single play of every single players all year long. They scrutinize it over and over again. And franky besides just the good ole eye test it’s the only organization that grades players like they do. They are the only ones! 99% of the time I trust PFF They are human beings though and human beings unlike computers can make mistakes. I think the mistakes they make are few and far between now. In the early days of the company then perhaps they were a little more all over the place. Karras is a top 10 center. He is a top 25% center. Can’t ask for much better especially for 6 mil a year. I think they should have given Karras a raise or a signing bonus or something. I would not make a good nfl owner. I would be giving guys raises all the time and we would run out of money lol.

Not sure about this year because rosters aren’t set yet but last season the Bengals had the 3rd YOUNGEST roster in the league with an average age of 25.4 years. Yea everyone’s a year older this year but we have 10 new picks who are all under 24 years old. I think when the roster is set we will still be in the top 5 as far as age goes. Which is good. The New Orleans Saints had the oldest roster last year. But they don’t seem to care. They keep extending 34 and 35 year olds. They are fucking nuts. I’m from Louisiana so I’ve always been a Saints fan but man since Brees and Payton left they are fucking up bad. And it started a few year before Payton and Brees left. They were going all in every year and kept pushing Brees cap hit further and further away and their whole financial situation is a mess. They were still paying or still had Drew Brees taking big chunks out of their salary cap for 2 seasons AFTER Brees had retired. Brees already had his money but dead money is essentially paying players that are no longer on the team. Year in and year out the Bengals don’t have much of this. That’s a good thing. It means you are signing the right free agents and they are playing out their contracts.

Yea but I’m over the moon that Karras will be with us for 2 more years. He is a great guy great player. He is tough strong and knows what he is doing. He came up under Bellicheck and I regard Bellicheck as a top 3 coach of all time. Maybe top 2. The 5 greatest football coaches of all time are in my opinion are 1) Bill Walsh 2) George Halas 3) Paul Brown 4) Bill Belicheck 5) Don Shula. Now you can put them in any order you want but that’s my order I would put them in. I LOVE Bill Walsh so no one can talk me out of that one. Maybe Bellicheck is number 2 behind him and Halas is 4th but that’s the only possible change I would make.

Tees agent prolly told him not to show up till the season started. I can see Tee telling him no I’m going in. And they aren’t going to tag Tee twice. They didn’t do that to AJ Green and they did t do it to Jessie Bates.

Regarding Teddy K, I hope the Bengals remember Andrew Whitworth. Keep talented Oline around. Forget the age. Judge them based on how they are able to produce. That includes health and availability of course but some people are ageless...take advantage of that.

What are the odds the bengals run into a situation where Chase doesn’t get a extension done and they Tag Higgins for a 2nd time for the 25-26 season where Higgins and Chase have to be decided on to who the Bengals extend since they would both be FA in year 26?

I think Jalen Davis should be cut and signed to the practice squad. Or waive him or whatever. Not because i don’t like him but because the talent in the CB room eclipses his. This is the CBs they should roll with this year. 1) CTB 2) DJ Turner 3) Dax Hill 4) Mike Hilton 5) Josh Newton 6) and lastly I would draft a veteran who can play if need be like Eli Apple. If DJ Ivey starts the season on the out list he would go to the practice squad too. And in 2025 he will be brought back up to the 53. At least this is what I would do. It would be very hard to keep more than 6 CBs and we have 4 safeties already too. Stone, Bell, Battle, Anderson. If Tyven Anderson starts out of the PUP list then the 7th round pick from Ole Miss the Saftey Anthony would make it

Yea no way were they going to let Ted Karras go. If they sign Mike Hilton for longer then they wasted a 1st round pick in 2022. That’s Dax Hills best position that’s where he needs to play. I love Mike Hilton but keeping him longer is giving up on Dax Hill. Unless Dax plays outside CB in which case you wasted a 2nd round pick in 2023 on DJ Turner. You know at some point we will have to just play the fucking game with the players we got.

I absolutely agree with yall on Ted Karras. I I’m the Bengals I cut Jalen Davis. If Dax moves to outside CB then I would train DJ Turner to play the nickel. The problem here is the Bengals have drafted too many CBs. There is too many cooks in this kitchen. The way I think is very orderly and I draft this guy to do this and that’s what he is going to do and I may draft someone to back him up. Chances are one of them are going to be ok at the position. But if you could Dax as a CB then they have drafted 5 CBs jn the last 2 years. DJ Ivey will probably start on the PUP list but I liked what j saw out of him last year. Josh Newton is a dawg. DJ Tuner has very soecial talents and a talent that can’t be taught. Speed. His is one of the 3 fastest people in the NFL. He is a great man cover CB. Chris Simms had him ranked as his number 2 CB in 2023 coming out of Michigan and i wholeheartedly agreed with him. And Dax is fast strong big enough to last safety but is the absolute perfect size for a CB in my opinion and he is. Silky smooth but is a great tackler, highlighted by his 110 tackles last year, great at blitzing. He got to the QB 2 or 3 time last year. And CTB I believe is going to go off this year. I think after this season he will be considered one of the best CBs in football and I could see a similar breakout by Dax Hill as well. And I could also see DJ Turner have a breakout year. It’s just crazy how much talent they have at CB. And I LOVE Mike Hilton. He plays like he is 6’ 200 lbs. It’s blows my mind when I see this guy who is 5’9’’ 185 blitzing and taking down Derrick Henry in the back field for a loss! How does that happen? So the Bengals have a conundrum because ALL of these guys are starting level players. All except possibly DJ Ivey. I believe Josh Newton is a starting level Player right now. If he would have came out in the 2023 draft Newton would have been a 2nd or 3rd round pick. There was even talk of possibly the end of the 1st round. Do you know who Newton reminds me of? JC Jackson. Newton seems like the type of CB that Bill Belicheck loves. The dude has mad skills. And he is from a city that I live in for 12 years so that kind of endears him to me. I use to drive by the place Newton went to HS everyday going to work. I watched him play at ULM. That the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I was wondering why he wasn’t playing at a power 5 school though because he was obviously better than the competition. Then he went to TCU to play with the big boys and did great. His second year there he regressed a bit but their team got gutted by the draft the year prior. That’s why I think he should have come out a year earlier.

Didn't Burrow take a team friendly deal to keep Tee and Jamarr. I wonder if this could turn sour quickly . Either way, the Bengals are in this situation because they pretty much drafted back to back 1st round wide receivers. If they win a Suberbowl it looks genius. if not, they look stupid with a top loaded offense. This year we will see.
