I think this is kind of cool. The powerleveling services show people don't want to level every persona or alt up over and over again, so they might as well capitalize on it. By PoP, leveling from 1 can be a bit annoying so it'll be nice for those that have leveled during the expansions but want to jump into something new. Like you said, you still have leveling to do but you can at least play with friends or with a boxed team you already have leveled up.

I think it's a good thing. The people who would buy this are the same that buy PL services. At least this way it's less disruptive to people playing the game. Also a Krono might get passed around multiple times before it is actually consumed. Player A buys a Krono from the marketplace, they trade for a PL service. The PLer makes enough Krono to sub all their accounts and has 29 more days left to farm more. The rest of the Krono they farm that month is sold online, it's traded again for a PL but this time the PLer sells it to another player, and it's then traded back for PL service. This cycle repeats for awhile before one is acrually consumed. It would be interesting to track how many times a Krono is traded between players before finally being used. I would bet DB has the ability to do this and might have decided financially it makes more sense to sell a heroic 50 as it would bring in more revenue than that 1 Krono that is being passed around what could be dozens of times before being used, with the added bonus of not pissing off potential customers who cant go into certain zones without every mob being taken and quitting from frustration.

I think it's a fine addition. At this point, it seems most of us are not concerned with any p2w in EQ anymore, so yeah, just p2skip. I could potentially utilize it at some point in the future. Maybe a future TLP, if I ever wanted to main a Berserker, I could just wait until GoD on a TLP and then start up. Probably not going to utilize it really outside of that situation, but I don't have a problem with its addition.

I think this is long overdue & honestly a really fair price for the pain 1-50 can potentially be (while finally killing off a chunk of the PLers).. However, this does kinda 'hint' to me that this may be the beginning of the end of EQ in a weird way.. If EQ is finally giving away plat + level 50's (which they fully knew they could always do), I feel like this implies that they may be hurting on revenue a bit lol. The question I find myself asking is 'Why now? Why did it take 25 years to release something that you always allowed the community to do for pay?' (again im 100% for this just curious of what took them so long haha).

I feel neutral. I don't see this effecting anybody except those looking to catch up during PoP-era when the player population takes a hit. Players were already paying for "boosts" with PL services, and they will continue to do so pre-pop to lvl 40+ and post pop launch for levels and AA exp.

Keeps Populations high later in the game. But getting to lvl 50 By POP isn't a big deal.

Its a good thing. At that point, all the 1-50 grind does is make people think twice about joining the server and if its worth catching up.

I'm a fan of this. Great way for folks who want to switch classes a few expansions into a TLP or get a late start. Little extra revenue for Darkpaw to support the game. Don't see any real harm.

i think this is good. Once you get to that point it might get hard to find low level groups, hoping this is going to be the longest lasting TLP server.

Not a big deal given that people are already paying for power leveling. I don't think many would argue the 1-50 journey is "fun" after the initial few months of a fresh server has died down and there's nobody left to group with. No brainer decision in my opinion. I'd use it, too, if I was planning a new character in that era.

Agreed, they must be really hurting for cash. At least lvl 50 will get you into the PoP dungeons. I can see why they would do the DBC offer too, needing some DBC sinks that people will spend all the DBC they collected over the years.

They're just cutting out the middle man. Instead of buying krono to give to a PLer, you can just buy the level 50 straight from DBG.

I am fine with people buying so many krono to advance toons for whatever level you want to move up to. I think people who Pl ruins zones. So if they want to pay go for it. Personally I like to PLAY THE GAME!!

28 weeks later everyone will be 75 possibly. Turns out, a lvl 50 can group with a 76 and still get xp. If the gear is good, this wont hit the free trade market or the PLers too hard. Overall, it just catches up casual players, etc.

1-50 is so fast. Why would anyone but a plvl in PoP to 50 they should of just made lvl 60 heroics as 50-60 takes 10x as long

When these 50th level heroics come out... The level 50 can immediately join an EXP group with the max level characters on the server. So, they can start grinding with friends or guild mates easily.

nah bro this has nothing to do with targetting power levelers. It was only a couple of hours to PL to 50 character in the first place, if anything this is to try to persuade you to get more level 50+ character who will pay for PL for AAs.

Everyone acts like DPG hates plvlers. They don’t. Why? Because power levelers play too. Also, with the changes, it takes a lot more accounts to power level. So now people buy krono to get a power level, plus the power leveler is paying 12 or more krono a month to support their crew. Also, by PoP the last think a power leveler wants to see is a level 1-65. All their guys are 65. They want you to be 43.

I'm all for the "original experience" but once the server becomes top heavy, you have a really hard time getting that "original experience" if you want to level a fresh toon; there's no one to group with. So beef them up to level 50 and AT LEAST be able to leech from max level players until you're high enough level to meaningfully contribute.

28 weeks/7 months into a server some people just want to play with their friends and are choosing to support a company to do that. You weren’t going to play on the server that long anyway
