This takes me back to when I was 19, my mom put me out, I remember being, broke, hungry and pregnant, then I built my tiny 🏠, now I'm 30, my son is 10, and i now have three businesses, 4 streams of income, and my mom and I repaired our relationship. You will be fine, just keep swimming. Everybody was mad that I got pregnant (I was on birth control injections when I got pregnant), and said that I was wasting my life, that same child 5yrs later drew a picture of our family, said,"mommy I love you", he snapped me out of a dark place (I was depressed & suicidal), ppl may think that you're making a mistake, but GOD got a purpose for everything that happens in your life. Proud of you and I don't even know you.

I don’t know how his ended up on my recommendations, but I’m here for it. I liked and subscribed within the first few minutes. My mom was 18 when she had me and we were homeless for the first 6 years of my life. We found shelter in an abandoned small school bus that had no roof. But it was on the river and it has a wood stove. So we stayed and we loved it. Point is, moms and their love know how to make a home. They know how to make the best of their situation to make sure their baby is happy. I’m always in awe of the strength and fortitude of mothers. Motherhood is not for the weak. I’m so insanely proud of this woman and her attitude and fortitude. She’s going to raise an amazing man because she’s an amazing mom. I’m so impressed and so glad I found this channel. Much love to these two. 🙏☺️

the black woman’s ability to make any space she’s in a home is just so... *chef’s kiss* wow i didn’t realize this comment would even get any attention like that lol. me acknowledging the fact that this single mother (who happens to be black) providing a safe and stylish home for her son has nothing to do with the fact that other people of other backgrounds are incapable of doing so as well.... like idk where that even came from lol. we can’t ignore the fact that there are a lot of single black mothers (for varied reasons due to their own personal circumstances), and all i was doing was acknowledging ONE WAY, that BLACK WOMEN are able to make use of the cards they’re dealt, because i feel they don’t get enough recognition for it. please don’t turn this positive comment into something it’s not lol. if you are not a black woman i’m sure you’re able to make a home out of your space too. but THIS black woman in particular MF DID THAT and that’s what i’m choosing to acknowledge. please let black women, black PEOPLE IN GENERAL, acknowledge each other with kindness without automatically taking it as a diss to your people, or as an opportunity to police us for doing so. btw her redecorating this home doesn’t necessarily HAVE anything to do with race. but again all i was doing was acknowledging the fact that she redecorated it well and happened to be a black woman who deserves recognition!!! that’s all!!! now please show this woman some love and give HER the attention!!! not my comment!!!

Awesome job young lady! I was a teen mom as well and my daughter became my greatest motivation. We struggled in the beginning but she’s 19 now (older than I was when I had her) and she’s attending Morgan State University. God has blessed us in an abundance and he will do the same for you. You will be just fine.

It’s literally 2:03am, I have never seen any of your videos and this, for some reason, popped up in my recommendation and I am so glad it did. God is speaking to me through you. I have a 3 year old little boy and let’s just say I have been praying and asking him to please give me a sign and tell me what i need to do. Love the way you moved while your son was still sleeping and when you began to work on his area, my heart lit up, I’m looking like “WOW, SHE DID THAT!” Let me unpause this video. New Subscriber, btw! 😊

I don't know how i even came across this video but I clicked on it because I'm a bit obsessed with tiny houses and renovating anything. After watching i realized it wasn't what I was expecting but when I tell you, im soooo impressed by your strength and your will to make your space a home for u and your son, my heart just melted. I was a single mom so I get it, im just so super proud of you and the love u have for your son. I really wish there was something I could do for you cause I really want you to have regular kitchen things, like a stove and stuff. God bless you beautiful!!!!!

From one single mom who started early, to another, you are doing a great job mama!!! Sooo proud of you!!!! My first born is grown and moved out this year. I wanted to do this and everyone told me I was insane for wanting to live in a shed and that CPS would take my baby but now “Tiny Living” is so popular. I wish I had done this back then when I first thought of it bc I would have been so much better off financially!!

Wow you did an amazing job! Your son is blessed to have such a dedicated mom. I don’t know you but some how I’m proud. Some tips: you can buy a bed skirt from walmart for under $15 to hide the storage under your bed. You can also get beads to separate your kitchen if you wanted to (they will look nice with your tapestry). Congratulations!
