Teen Opera Singer Reacts To Lea Salonga - On My Own

I never get tired of watching Lea's performances, especially this one. (There is a reason it has over 27 million views.) I would love to see you react to more of her performances. She has many great solo performances, but I'm also very partial to many of her duets so I'm suggesting some of those, too: --Lea singing "Via Dolorosa" --Lea singing "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" --Lea rehearsing "I'm Still Hurting" (talk about ACTING! And wearing no makeup at all. Amazing.) --Lea and Rachelle Ann Go singing "The Movie In My Mind" at the MISS SAIGON 25th Anniversary concert (there are other times they've sung this song together, but you have to watch this one) --Lea and Regine Velasquez singing a Musical Medley (I can't tell you how much I want these two to do a full concert together and/or work together in some other way!!!) --Lea and Josh Groban singing "The Prayer" (they also sing "All I Ask of You" from PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and it sounds beautiful, but if you only react to one of them, please do "The Prayer"! Josh was doing a concert in Manila and Lea had broken her leg the month before. She had to cancel more of her upcoming performances but she still came to sing at Josh's concert since it didn't require extensive travel and she could do it from her wheelchair. And it took place on her 48th birthday - Feb 22, 2019.) --Lea and Brad Kane singing "We Could Be In Love" (a 90s pop song that Lea sang with the singing voice of Aladdin) I could keep going, but I'll stop there!

Lea Salonga is a master of Broadway. Nice legato lines. Great at dynamics. 😃 She also is a judge in singing shows in The Philippines 🇵🇭 including The Voice Philippines, where she saw the audition of Morissette Amon to the elimination round.

I appreciate Lea Salonga's extreme clarity with her diction & her overall performance skills are just "Steller!". I don't like missing the lyric's when someone is performing so it makes for much easier listening when you're able to hear & understand the performer's voice clearly whether they're talking or singing, again Lea projects herself very well throughout this performance. I have a suggestion for a reaction; Tommy Johansson singing "Phantom of the Opera". He sings both parts of the duet -- very impressive. He is a Swedish heavy metal vocalist and guitarist.

@Aaliyah Capili Be sure to use the "Official Video" version. If you like the "Phantom ..." video, check out "You Raise Me Up - 1 Octave Challenge" by Tommy. Just make sure there are no empty water glasses close to your speakers if you don't use headphones.

Since you've done Nightwish you might want to give Unleash The Archers a try. The lead singer , Brittney Slayes, has an extremely good voice and is in my opinion the Queen of Metal. She can also do Opera. I'd recommend Awakening and Tonight We Ride.
