@@pjdougherty6442 I mean, in this universe, sure. (Though the joke there is that her sister speaks with perfect grammar, meaning she, err, "kissed" a lot more guys. Ahem.) The kissing thing is a thing in the comics, but it's any skin contact. She just kisses because it leads to more interesting things. The comics are also inconsistent on which languages Dick Grayson knows. In New Teen Titans, it's very few; in fact, there are times when he has trouble with ASL (which he understands fluently next issue), Russian, and Japanese. But I guess they decided if Bruce is teaching all his kids Navajo, why not? (Canon, by the way. You really do not want to read it, though. Trust me. If you know anything about Cassandra Cain, it's absolutely horrible.)

PJ Dougherty Well if you consider it this way, in that same episode, Robin and Co say they are just trying to be “nice” to Starfire. Starfire retorts saying there is no such word on her planet, the closest one is *Tamaranian word I don’t how to type* which means weak. Very different languages if you consider Nice in English means Weak in Tamaranian. So I’d imagine there are different she would have to get used to.

@@theomnigamer9177 That actually is how it is on Tamaran. Her father is seen as weak for surrendering to the Citadel, and she's the only one who seems to see him differently. Even though she's also a victim of that decision: He sold her into slavery as part of the treaty, and then when they're independent, he forced her into a marriage. Nightwing is there for it, but just because her fiancé is a cuck. And just so we're aware, when I say "cuck" I don't mean a generic term for a beta male. I mean he literally has no problem with Nightwing staying there as his queen's concubine. Oh, did I mention all of that marriage talk was happening during Crisis on Infinite Earths? Meaning, there's also a war for all existence going on back on Earth, and Nightwing would much rather die there than be here. (Plus, dying must've been the "in" thing: Crisis on Infinite Earths literally had an infinite body count, and "people with names who die on panel in the main story" was over 300.) And his mind has been at war with itself for a year because he was brainwashed by Brother Blood. Man, no wonder he went nuts, insulted all his friends, and joined a cult.

Let's remember that Robin learned many languages from the Batman. One of the Teen Titans from the era these stories are largely derived from had his larynx damaged. He was also Slade's son. Basically he had been taken hostage by terrorists, and Slade Wilson does not negotiate. So the man slit his throat, not enough to kill him, but to render him mute. The boy's mother then shot out the Terminator's eye for his hubris.
