My 57 year old dad wanted to see this movie because he actually enjoyed the show and he asked me to go with him. The movie had it’s annoying moments, however at least this movie was more enjoyable to watch than the 10 to 15 minute irritating episodes on Cartoon Network. I found myself laughing out load at the references, how they go back in time to make sure Batman’s parents were killed and the fact other hero’s don’t really see them as hero’s was a perfect plot in my opinion. Also I found myself singing the rap on occasion.

it’s honestly kind of shocking that teen titans go has gotten a better audience as the show continued, partially because Cartoon Network keeps milking the hell out of it (shoutouts to you, Spilling Milk). I still don’t have much if any affinity for it but, for what it’s worth, I’m glad that the show is contributing to keeping the network alive, for better or for worse. although, while i think the movie was surprisingly decent, I don’t think the movie needed a theatrical release. This honestly seems like something worthy of just being aired on Cartoon Network from the beginning. Edit: I will add, I do think Raven stayed pretty consistent between classic and GO!, with a few exceptions, for her to be considered arguably the best character in both.

The ttg movies are unironically great. I watch TT vs TTG sometimes just for a good time
