Thanks for sharing such a positive fun vibe, the OP-Z is an amazing instrument. I didn't know a lot about Tobias, but his genuine nature - mixed with your excitement was an awesome combo. Thanks for taking the time to make such great content.

you know it's really funny... i stated playing electronic music in 2009 on a gameboy using LSDJ (much like how tobias mentioned) and after a while i felt like i wanted to take music more seriously and i've spent years on the hunt for the perfect home studio setup and the best analog gear and the big mixers and the old school MPCs and the big serious boxes and the euroracks and all that.... i've never felt any satisfaction or amusement along the way, it's always been frustration and feeling of missing out or not being good enough or not being able to afford enough gear.... recently i was working through some issues and i was reflecting on this and realized that music wasn't supposed to be serious, at least not for me, music is supposed to be a fun expression of one's self and nothing else... this goal of hunting down the biggest baddest studio might be good for some but it was a negative mindset for me. since then i started selling some of the gear i had from that quest and going back to my gameboys and i started gravitating towards new instruments that were a lot more "fun" than serious... the first recent one was the model cycles.. absolutely love it... then i watch an interview with one of the creators and he casually mentions gameboys and LSDJ! and now me watching this interview on the same day i'm about to go pick up a OP-Z and Tobias mentions also gameboys and LSDJ! it's kinda funny that now naturally the instruments i gravitate towards all had influences from gameboys and LSDJ...means i'm on the right track and that i'll probably love the OP-Z!
