That is cool Paul. I have not seen pumpkins on a trellis before. It's worthy enough for "The Great Pumpkin".
@paulsmessyworkshop4 жыл бұрын
Ken, I had never heard of pumpkins climbing a trellis either before now. The pumpkins she is going to use are miniature pumpkins so I don't know if that will make a difference or not. I might be mistaken but I think my granddaughter said they will be container grown. Thanks for tuning in and for the great comment....

Great job Paul! I know working with angles can definitely make a project more challenging. I bet your grand kids are thrilled with the cool things you make for them! Stay safe and well. Thanks for sharing another fun project with us!!!

Lori, I really appreciate your watching. While I have made many things for grandkids over the years this is the first time one of them requested a project. Of course I was glad to take on the challenge.

That is very cool. Wife would like that especially if I told her bout mini pumpkins. ... Dean Martin once said "I got enough gas to go to Pittsburg" (hope you get that lol) Take care, be safe.

Bill, remember, you only see what the camera allows you to see. What is shared with you is probably the most orgainized and cleanest part of the shop. You might be considered paulsmessyworkshop of the southern hemisphere...lol

That's a nice build Paul. I like how you finished the top with the box and "finial". Are you going to put a finish on it? Either way, it's a great project. Thanks for sharing it with us.
@paulsmessyworkshop4 жыл бұрын
Kenny, Thanks for watching and for the comment. I didn't put a finish on it, I told my granddaughter that it would be a good idea if she did...lol I wasn't sure if she wanted a clear finish on it or if she wanted to put a solid color stain on it to match her deck. When she asked me to make it for her that was one of the things I told her was her responsibility. Thanks for the comment about the finial, I felt it needed something to finish it off. Thanks again for watching my friend.
