Great Podcast episode! Tefi was wonderful! I Totally agree with Tefi! It is a Man and Woman thing.. Saying both Men and Women do it and are the same is not only false but it can be detrimental to both genders becoming better.. I totally get how Tefi would feel in a relationship with Nick… I would feel the same.. Women and Men do Love differently. The power dynamic comment 🙄 Its not about having more power.. it’s about Women wanting to feel, Cherished, Valued, Loved and Pursued by a Man, because when we love we Love Hard.

did we watch the same interview ? lol he could barely get a breath out she had so much nervous chihuahua energy lol
@skyebrooklyn2 жыл бұрын
@@pamelaaranzazu are we watching the same video??? becauseeeee he literally interrupted her like 20 times her energy is great I just wish he would’ve let her finish her sentences
@stellarusso62262 жыл бұрын
@@pamelaaranzazu I was apparently watching the same interview you were watching, because I also thought he couldn’t get a word in. She likes to hear herself talk. The nervous energy, and her viewpoints at times, came across a bit like a way to mask some insecurities. But then again, as a sidenote, I have no idea who she is, and to be fair, I think from listening to her, I am also not in her target age group, so that also may be why she comes off like that to me.

Mormon here - I just heard about the soaking concept on tiktok a few months ago, and I don't know anyone who actually believes this is not sex, let alone heard any real stories about this happening. I'm not a fan of mocking beliefs, especially when you haven't taken the time to understand those beliefs!! Other than that, really great interview and Tefi's hilarious.

I feel like it would be exhausting with this point of view of men and the world. I can’t relate to a lot of this based on my experience in life but I also wonder if you find confirmation for what you believe/look for. I’m around Nick’s age - but maybe I’m too old to follow this conversation? Lol Some of this seems a bit more like a hard shell or defense mechanism than genuine confidence? I give Nick credit for playing along for an hour.

Having Boundaries? O.o
@stellarusso62262 жыл бұрын
@Marie S I think you’re right, I think it is because we are in an older age group that this wasn’t as relatable. I am a little older than Nick, also in my forties, and to me it also seemed like a defense mechanism and a viewpoint to mask certain insecurities.

My biggest pet peeve are ex Catholics who talk about “catholic guilt” lol it’s not a real thing…. Yes religious trauma is a very real thing but most of the time those people did not experience religious trauma at all… you guys just understand absolutely nothing about Catholicism (which to a big extent is not your fault and it’s the fault of terrible CCD programs and parent’s lack of knowledge on the faith) and you just left. Period. Nothing deeper than that. If you want to really deconstruct the false version of the faith you were taught growing up- ask questions, research, go directly to the source. Thank you
@saintneptune93 жыл бұрын
no thank you. imagine being loud and wrong lol
@sarak40102 жыл бұрын
I was DEEPLY dedicated to my Catholicism, constantly practicing and studying, surrounded myself with other devoted catholics. Trust me, I have trauma. I would say it’s mostly purity culture though.

I don’t agree with her viewpoints on love and dating. It’s negative and an immature approach to love. My husband and I have a mutual love and respect for each other and is not like these men she describes. Be more careful of your picker than anything. Also, keep in mind we’re mid 20s. Never accept less than what you deserve and communicate confidently. That’s what will get you the furthest, and you’ll attract your equal when you think and act this way. Don’t give anyone that doesn’t treat you right the time of day.
@saintneptune93 жыл бұрын
this “ you’ll attract your equal” is some BS. lmao. congrats on your happy marriage tho.
