This video is amazing. Just wondering, how unusual is it for rain the time of year this video was shot, and given the snow what are the chances of it being cold enough for that? edit: also curious about road traffic. Here in Southeastern OH. the first few times it snows and actually covers the roads every year it seems like everyone has forgotten how to drive in it. What was it like in Central CA. where I assume it is not only rare but basically a once in a lifetime event to have snow heavy enough to not only cover the ground but the pavement as well.

Here in Central California, it’s not uncommon to get decent rainfall in early February. As for snow, it is an extreme rarity. It only snows in the valley every 15-20 years, and the conditions have to be perfect. The last time it snowed here was in 1999 I believe
