In this second episode, I leave Tehran heading to Kashan. I’ll visit the Fin Garden (an amazing example of a classical Persian garden), the Boroujerdi and Tabatabaei historical houses, the Shrine of Sultan Amir Ahmad, Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse, Agha Bozorg Mosque, the Grand Bazaar and Aminoddole Caravanserai, as well as starting my food journey with some delicious Joojeh Kebab (saffron chicken kebab).
This is still just the beginning, there’ll be a lot more coming from one of the most fascinating countries I’ve experienced.

PATHS LESS TRAVELED
In the late summer of 2022 I embarked on an epic road trip around Iran, during a time of unrest as protests escalated across the country.
Covering around 6200km over 24 days, I was able to see this incredible country in a way that many are not fortunate enough to see, and to record my experiences in a way that has not been done before.
Safety concerns meant that I had to limit my filming on occasion, and stay well away from any signs of the troubles going on.
However, what I did see was an incredible insight. Some of the most wonderful and welcoming people, incredible history and culture, and mind blowing food.
Paths Less Traveled - Iran is my story of my experiences, put in an in-depth series of Iran travel vlogs.

If conscience and honor exist in every human being, today is the time to support Iranians who are trying to regain their freedom. In this dark and bloody situation, where almost more than 1000s of Iranian among them also children and teenagers have lost their lives, need your support to be the voice of Iranian protesters who do not have basic human rights. Think about that twice.

For me arrival in Tehran airport was far quicker and simpler than I thought. The line for passport and visa check took no longer than 10 minutes and the check itself was fast. The airport is far out of the city though and was a long drive in the middle of the night. Of course I can't say if things have changed - I arrived the day before the protests started.

I'm not pretending that nothing is happening, I've just recorded my experience and am showing the good sides of Iran to many who see nothing more than the news.
