Tekken 6 doesn't have 8 battles.

Tekken 6's arena mode (aka the "secondary" story mode of this game, as the "main" story mode is the scenario campaign), only has 4 fights for each character. It has by far, the smallest number of fights for each character. Here is the number of stages, in each Tekken game and modes: 4 stages: Tekken 6 (Arena Mode) 5 stages: Tekken 7, Tekken 8 (Character Episodes) 8 stages: Tekken Tag Tournament 1, Tekken 4 (most Story Battles, Arcade Mode and Time Attack Mode), Tekken 8 (Arcade Battle) 9 stages: Tekken 1, Tekken 4 (Jin, Kazuya, Lee and Hwoarang's Story Battles), Tekken 5, Tekken 6 (Arcade Battle and Time Attack Mode), Tekken Tag Tournament 2 10 stages: Tekken 2, Tekken 3
