Now this is a guide, so comprehensive, Kazuya isn't so easy to pick up at least for me, this helped out so much man, been putting in so many hours perfecting EWGF and Wave Dashing, appreciate the great content, subbed!

few notes : ss3 does launch even on simple hit but depends of your opponent position, when he says ff3 it's actually ff4. after a wavedash if you just press forward you're in the same input state as ff. b4 is now a nice move, to use as a b! and catch ss. thank you for the video.

Hey Arj, was wondering...would you say in order to play mishimas to a decent level, you must be able to electric consistently? When I watch these combo videos, it almost seems like they are compulsory if you want those big damage combos. Especially when EWGF is safe on block, how about the normal one? Is that punishable? I don't mean just for Kazuya, i meant for any mishimas in the game.

DatChief Kazuya relies on his EWGF more than the other Mishimas because kazuya is mainly a defensive character who excels at punishing. That's why he is really hard to master, you need knowledge of almost every character to really excel with him to the high ranks. I'm new to tekken for the most part and got to marauder rank online with him so its possible to be good with him early on but later itll get hard. But back to your question, kazuya yes you need EWGF, the others not as much.

ss+3 gives combo all the time

b1,2 is 11 frames not 12 his 12 frame punish is 2,2 and 112 can be delayed and confirmed aaaand fd2 is not 12 frames it's 14 oh aaaand ewgf can algo be used to wiff punish by either a wd into ewgf or running ewgf and ws4 is not 10 frames it's 11 and ss3 is always combo starter

Sorry I read the buttons wrong, I play kazuya but I seem to have issues when it comes to punishing any tips on how to improve?

Will try and make a video for you on punishing, but if you are playing kazuya I would recommend trying to punish anything you think is punishable with 1,1,2. Even if it doesn't punish just use it is still a quick move worth using after being attacked. When you are comfortable with that, start using back 1,2 for moves you think look a bit more punishable
