Counter hit ss 3 gives you b 1 2 guranteed it leaves with 12 frames which is exactly what back 1 2 is ive been trying to see if i can get blue fist there but it seems really tight for inputs

You have to be close enough. The hit box is kind of odd. So if you are even slightly away you won't pick up for combo

i can pull off pauls harder combos consistently but i can never do the death fist follow up after the new chain breaker move (0:06) fast enough :( it feels like i cant do the input until its to late from his chain breaker recovery. Any advice pls

Its not that hard at all, do the deathfist when paul puts his left hand back into position like as he is about to stop moving it, i can even do the clean hit deathfist with dashing in idk maybe you need more practice paul is not hard really

Paul’s b4 already have counter hit combo also. Its also way more faster compare to season 3. Take note that the F 1+3 cannot be follow by deathfist already

I don't mind the damage nerfs. In fact I'll take a huge damage nerf for buffs in speed. Unfortunately his lack of utility outside of damage and easy inputs rather... Lacklustre nowadays. Inconsistent sluggish moves don't feel like they synergise. Like, I get it, does decent amount of of damage and isn't too hard to do it but the amount of times he shows inconsistent behaviour and how sluggish his moves come out, I really feel he's at his weakest here. A lot of his key moves are quite short ranged, or count as a High and it's not particularly fun to see moves miss because of that. His new power crush is... Okay I guess. In use, I found that it's not a whole lot better than the original power crush he had... Which I found rarely useful because of it taking too long to start up.

Yeah buddy. Perfectly input. He is a slow ass character. A faster character can poke him to death. That is why at higher level is rarely used. Because the game play is different and pros don't get launch that easily. But these online fake streamers cry like hell. Because they have no understanding how tekken is played at pro level and how to play against him. Fury said he feels old and leggy. He has nothing but the damage. Paul needs that damage to be consider a good character. Take that away and you have nothing. New move is ass. Does not work against pokes or small moves. And the deathfist is pretty hard to do after that. I have seen justice dropping that

@@muhtadaali8847 Db2 always hits for me as a follow up after his new f+2+3 (used rarely) knocks down because yes, his deathfist whiffs a lot as a combo, so it's (df) not reliable. I use his f+2+3 to absorb short, incoming combos or 1 big move. Knocking my opponent down in front of me is what I want. You're correct on up close, poking battles for Paul. They will always be his biggest weakness/challenge. Parries/reversals help, but it will be very difficult if the other player is good at chickens.

@@muhtadaali8847 And you can think of his b+1+2 as a somewhat, long distance tool to knock away, not just as a PC. You'd be surprised with the right timing of how many ppl get hit with it and it's great if it knocks them into a wall. Use it sparingly, of course, as it's a high and easily, launch punishable.

@@smartie354 his b12 is delayable. So i try to check with 1 first if it hits then I go for 2. And I agree with you many people get hit. But I need to use it more often. Many people will block first hit then get hit by second hit. I think its mind game. But i wonder why they get hit on second hit. I end new move with back 2. Reliable for me. I wish he should have had a poke instead of new move. But his low game is buffed

Paul is braindead and you know it. It's okay. You can abuse paul to get to red ranks and then people start getting decent. Abuse paul. Hes overpowered and simple. Perfect for a smoothbrain like you

But I think you need to read my comment again. His OPTIMAL COMBOS ARE THE HARDEST IN THE GAME. Try doing 4 elbows into ws2. Or qcf 3plus4 combos. No he is not braindead. It takes skills to play Paul. Because everyone knows his matchup and it becomes harder to open up their defence. Braindead characters were Leroy and fahkumran. Tell me one thing if he was really that braindead and easy. Why the heck don't we see a Paul main in tournaments or Paul in top8 ever? Even knee picked him as a counter pick. JOEY Fury says he has nothing but damage. His normal combos are easy. But OPTIMALS are the hardest. I learnt 2 ewgf in 6 minutes compare to 2 elbows. Which I still struggle to connect consistently
