the funniest thing to me is this tekken god supreme hwoarang is using the same moves and runs the same mix as a red rank hwoarang, you could put any rank under his name and it would work

I watch Mr. Croft videos to learn new things and see if I need to change my gameplay style. All I learned was don’t rematch hwoawrang because it’s just an annoying character to play against.

Only diehard Hwoarang mains say that. At least 95% of the playerbase agrees that Hwoarang is definitely annoying to deal with, but so anyone is in Tekken 8. It's not exclusive just to Hwoarang.

I agree that Hworang is one of the most annoying characters in the game and I absolutely hate fighting him, but atleast Hworang can't go under your mids and sometimes even lows and launch you for it

@@FollowTheDamnTrain0 To start with when ling does that she gets much less dmg than all the chars when they start a combo and each time she gets into stance she is risking her life, hwo is always plus, doesnt care if its a homming, powercrush or whatever shit he spams, he has the fastest atacks on the game since he always starts them with crazy plus frames (ling b1 its 8 frames and u cant even connect it most of the time, ull get counterhit for trying it and even if u do u r still -1), best oki at the game, best range, best closecombat tools with lots of mixups (throw/low/mid, high) and guaranted follow ups that take half of ur hp, also best wall carry, keep out tools and, just in case u decide to start atacking, b1 (and he is plus after hitting with it and has more range and evasion than ling b1). Maybe he can have AOP, a flash would be a nice idea too, why not? Y i can win against hwoarang, i have to since he is the char i figth the most for some reason, still he is broken beyond measure.

@@DannyBob08 I agree with everything you said about Hworang I hate Him. All I'm saying is Ling is as annoying or maybe even more annoying...you can't play Tekken against her. Imagine being afraid to throw your safe mid because she can stupidly get under it and launch you. Atleast against Hworang you're still playing Tekken

My opponents are ready to duck the second part and launch me for it, so I'm trying to avoid using that move too often. Yes you can hit confirm but there's always a risk, I prefer 1+2, 1+2.

Anyone else feel like the Xiao/Hwo matchup is horribly stacked against Xiaoyu?

Yes, I play Hwoarang, it's easier to deal with Xiaoyu because we always have our long range b3 ready for whiffing. Plus Ling players just like Hwoarang players can't seem to stop pressing buttons. So it gets easier to punish. On the other hand, Hwoarang is eaten for breakfast by technical characters like Mishima, Dragunov cause their defense is really solid.
