Fun fact: when Devil Jin goes into Heat Mode after those two big hits at 8:09 and 8:14, he says the phrase “korosu” in both sequences, which mean “kill” or “I’ll kill you!” in Japanese. He also says it the first time in 7:42.

Yay!!! Another Tekken 8 reaction!!! Alisa was so funny with her special intro with Jack, but atleast she still thanked him. Lee holding a new product has some good reference, because the face of his product is a reference of Combot ( a playable character on T4 & Tag 2) Lee’s rage art when he throws a bomb is really marvelous as he said. Lee’s win pose when he said, “Hey, Hachi” got me laughing. Zafina is one of my mains back on Tekken 6, the reason why she has a purple creature on her left arm was she sealed Azazel on her left arm. Azazel is the original host of the Devil Gene. I’m glad Claudio was still helping Zafina by controlling Azazel by putting a seal, unfortunately it didn’t work because he even said that the seal was broken. Devil Jin’s laugh was so creepy and still iconic, & love his new look. In the launch trailer, Paul wanting to punch Kazuya reminds me of their rivalry back on T1. The opening movie has a lot of references from other Tekken games like Tekken 5, Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, Tekken 2, & Tag 1. I hope you will play Tekken 8, especially the story mode. I hope you get to react to the character episodes of Tekken 8 after playing Tekken 8 🥰💗

- Lee: Not only is the Heihachi Combot head sort of a reference to his old win ending where he has Heihachi as a servant, but the phrase "Hey, Hachi" is basically calling him "Eight" because that's what Hachi translates to, but the audio joke if it sounding like Heihachi's name.

I know this might not get the popularity contest but I'd watch warframes New War/Whispers in the wall quest/Cavia syndicate cutscenes. The voice acting in that was amazing, and in whispers in the wall we're getting to know a new syndicate known as the Cavia, and when you rank up their syndicate they reveal a bit about them. And wont say this quick but that voice acting in there really sold the emotions told there. Wow! even now i still think about it. The reason i said New War since its a prelude building up towards Whispers in the wall and that one in turn gives some tidbit information about the cavia needed to understand if you rank up to understand why they are a certain way or feeling a certain way.

my xbox series x broke 5 minutes before release so i ended up having to playing tekken tag tournament 2 on my old xbox 360 instead and having to pay £300 to fix it 😭. hoping its fixed soon so i can get fighting and playing azucena because she looks so cool! hope you enjoy the story mode and its been wonderful experiencing this with you!

No just no. They pay more attention to the chat then the actual game and they talk all through the game. Again, not paying any attention to the game or it's story. So no I WOULDN'T want them to do a live stream of Tekken 8 because they would just ruin it.

And by the way the story mode for Tekken 8 wasn't that great. Mortal kombat 1 had a way better story than tekken 8.

@@starknight2262 You may have a point but they know the Tekken lore so they'll be able to follow along. Still haven't finished the Tekken 8 story yet so I'm not sure if It's better or worse than Mortal Kombat just yet. MK does storytelling very well but I prefer the Tekken world anyway.

I hope you are not talking about them doing a livestream of this game because it would be dumb. They would pay more attention to the chat then the game itself and be talking all through the game not paying any attention to the game's story whatsover. They did this with the mortal kombat games and the God of war games on livestream so i don't expect them to to do any different with Tekken 8 on livestream.

This is why I hate Livestreams in general. It would be different if they're just doing the versus mode where there just picking a character each and fighting each other because there is no story to pay attention to like in the story mode.

I know Paul always gets a chuckle out of you when he talks tough, but canonically he’s been on a par with Kazuya at times (before he learnt fully into his Devil Gene) and only lost the third tournament on a technicality. His goofy phase only started after that, when he went kinda crazy for not getting the credit for beating Ogre (and presumably Heihachi).

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, and you are 100% right. Cutscenes are great, but some games require you to play it to invest into it. Like DMC, Yakuza and God of War. If I had to give a suggestion for you guys to learn how to play, just pick a character who looks cool. Sometimes the easy character can be a little boring, so if someone looks cool, give em a whirl!

Not going to give any spoilers here but the main storyline for Tekken 8 was not as good as i hoped it would be. It was kinda bland and not as epic as they made it out to be. Not saying it was bad but it wasn't that good either and the ending was dumb but you would have to play the game or watch videos of the main story on KZbin to know what i mean or what I'm talking about with the ending.

and Eddy makes 4 and a half. If this had been 7 Beth would have a distinct edge, but Eight's ENORMOUS overhaul of the mechanics make things literally a whole new ball game. The story trailer also does not even kind of touch on the enormity of the changes to the franchise itself. This is most definitely the most 'Before was this,' and 'After is this' game they've ever made, even moreso than Tekken 5dr, which fundamentally altered the series forever, and even Three, still one of the best selling fighting games of all time.

Im so sad because alot of the stuff in the trailers you guys just watched and are also in the story mode that you guys will play are all going completely over your heads. There's so much referential value that you guys just couldn't possibly appreciate. You can still have fun with the action though hopefully. Just a simple example. the sequence in the opening movie where they showcase a bunch of characters on a dark background is a direct reference to the opening movie for tekken 5 that used to play all the time at the old arcade machines. You guys watched it at some point on the channel too. even though you probably don't remember
