Harada refuses to reboot the story-line. I could see Kazuya dying because Heihachi is gone. Jin will remain alive at least.

And than in Tekken 16 jin is the bad guy and his son probably named Tin (Don't mind the name 💀) kill him while Tekken 9 to 15 will be all that rivalry shit and daddy issues 💀

I don't want kazuya to die seeing as he's my main but it would make sense if he did story wise and someone needs to die, they're saying they are facing each other for the final time m. There's no way they'll kill Jin, which would actually be ballsy if Jin actually lost in T8 overall. Like Thanos Infinity war type thing. Ultimately they need to get off this time period. There's been 6 iron fist tournaments since T3 and it's only been 2 or 3 years in that time. Before that only 2 tournaments in 20 years lol. We need another time jump by like 10 years for T9. Freshen up the dynamic.

Tekken 6 screwed up Jin's storyline. That was not really Jin in anyway. He reasoning for starting a war was terrible.

I certainly agree. Then by the end of the game, it’s like nothing really happens outside of that part of the story…

Not really. In the beginning no one really knew what Jin was doing. At the start of the game he literally started WW3. He wanted to inflict as much suffering in the world because that was the ONLY way to resurrect Azreal. Jin believed that Azreal was the source of his devil’s power. And what Jin hope what would happen by killing Azreal the devil gene will die along with it. But I agree Tekken 6 was the most confusing storyline. Because we all thought Jin was a good guy and the. He starts to commit genocide without battling an eye

Writing went pretty downhill after T4. T4 gave all characters great motivation for fighting in the tournament. They'll never return to the dynamic of T4 but I wish the quality of the story writing would be on par.

@@bainbridgeomega I think T8 story will be cool but cool in a dumb fast and furious/Avengers way lol. T4 was the most grounded the franchise was ever going to get. But I don't think that'd work today, T5 onwards has amped up the action. When I say T4 writing though I mean they did the characters justice. For example T4 was the last time we got a good Paul that wasn't dumb as a bag of rocks. The Mishima story was at its best then too.
