there was this game called fighters destiny. there was a few characters that stood out to me. Leon was one of them, he sounds and kicks like Baek. made me wonder, where tekken and fighters destiny related in anyway? Master looks like a younger Heieichi .. (idk).

There was a cheap trick if you ever fought as Baek against Jack-2. Left punch-left punch, over and over again. Jack-2 could never recover fast enough to retaliate.

Seems like a mix of Hwaorang, Jun and Lei. Hi exaggerated moves are hilarious and his seem less combo are always fun to watch. Super underrated and in my top 10 all times video game characters. Honestly he would be great for Fighting Force or any beatem up

Hwoarang standardized the term, “Flamingo stance” (if you ever bought the strategy guide). It is very commonly used karate fighting stance in real life, but we never had a name for it???!!! 😂

Easiest tenstrings in the game. Only two button pushes. No joystick/joypad pushes required (unlike Kazuya’s). Baek’s tenstrings were the first I mastered. Additionally, Baek clearly represented a particular martial arts discipline. He wasn’t a “generic” fighter, like Nina. When Tekken 3 came out, I was disappointed they removed Baek. It seemed like all that hard work to learn his Tekken 2 tenstrings - was for nothing.
