Still no better way to copy properties (specific properties) than the apply and modify buttons in a separate window. I really miss them. It would be nice to have an advanced option to turn off the real time property reading and have the last applied setting in the property pane. In case I need a real time property I could still use the custom inquiry.

I completely agree with you. You can try this to use old properties window "Hold down Ctrl and double-click the part. First select the part in the model and then Ctrl+double-click to open the old property dialog box. "

@ krahos6 @ GyulaGeher 100% agree, this is a complete bodge after imposing the singular properties dialouge... which is a complete time waster! the "Ctrl+double-click" isn't much better either really tedious. try "SET XS_DIALOG_ENABLE_STATE=TRUE" to enable old part properties dialogues
