Would be nice to try different tires, our indoor track is slicks or it’s like driving on ice

Now that track is thawing and damp slicks are working best. Amazing traction on clay compound slicks. Hopefully that’s not long term because I don’t have any and just spent a lot on new tires. No worm clay tires to sacrifice to slicks yet.

Moisture is the issue with the track I run, they wet the track in between heats I guess it’s cheaper only having to run slicks but it kind of takes tires out of the setup equation

Tires were best setup yet on my 4WD but conditions are changing weekly. When wet clay slicks are working best and I have none of those.

I was thinking if it was possible to have a camera mounted on the car. (Go pro) for some race cam style like nascar or f1 or indycar Just a thought umless its cost prohibitive or not going to be allowed in race rules.

I might try that during a practice sometime. But even a GoPro camera weighs a lot and up high it’ll significantly alter the handling for a 10th scale. Check out Ryan Lutz channel, he did it on an 1/8 scale practice and it went viral.

I think ive seen that. One and one or two others.. wasn't sure on the weight of gopro. Maybe there is a cheap James bond type spyware type camera.. small and light. On the infraction if it was fpv it might br scary. When ground is dry..
