As an owner of the MT410 2.0 you need to install the shock cap.... yes, belted are a most. I'm running 3700kv on 3s 56mph all day.

I agree with some of the first comments you were making about some of the videos out there. They take a 550 brushed car and put in 6s . Out of control. Like what percentage of people are going to do that ? Go one or two levels up from stock. Something like what we might do. 😂😮🎉 Trying to stand out from the crowd I guess. 😅

I seen a Tekno exb 48 truggified like anMT acting like an outcast but smoother . He was using a composite spur . It was pretty sweet with the upgrades he had . It opened my eyes that there’s more to offer other than traxxas and arrma and rlaarlo . I’d pay the extra for more 👍

I would have to almost agree with it needs no ugrades. If u bash ,and or run in sand and loose dirt situations id strongly recommend a steel spur gear. Id also agree that the center brace is useful for high jump hard landings . Thanks

Ok then.... I see you don't take any criticism at all... good to know you can dish it out but don't like to take it. Used to be a customer, but not anymore, especially when you are pushing "upgrades" that the MT410 2.0 does not need. I do own one, and it's already one of the best handling "monster trucks" available. The MT410 2.0 is, basically, Tekno's SCT 410 platform, which is why almost every single part is interchangeable between both, as well as the XX48 series (1/8th scale). You don't actually need the sway bars for this truck, especially when most people who buy it will beat the living crap out of it, yeeting it 30 feet in the air. It already handles great, especially with good tires... if someone is interested in racing-level handling, they'll look at their racing offerings. As such, you also do not need the chassis brace, as Razor RC demonstrated (Razor RC is someone you, at least, seem to respect) by launching it, repeatedly, 40 feet into the air. Anyway, feel free to also erase this comment.

Ty for your response. And thank you for your opinion. That’s what makes the United States of America so great. Freedom of speech. You are definitely entitled to what you think is true. I just ask that you give me that same freedom. There is no question in my mind that the truck handles much better with the sway bars on it then without. If I have time I will demonstrate with an mt410 on video. As far as the center brace goes. The brace goes a lot deeper than jumping at 40 feet into the air. That’s not where you’re gonna see most of the Gain or Change I would say. When you’re stiffening up a chassis, you change the handling characteristics. A seasoned and experienced professional will be able to tell the difference. I’m sorry if you think I’m a con artist or a salesman . Many of my customers from what they tell me don’t think so and they appreciate my honesty.

How would you say this competes with the mt10 you built with the alloy ft shocks? I have a mt10 with upgraded hobbywing electronics and hace spent about 3 years playing and tuning the car as it is extremelyadjustable. It is really a solid car both handling and durability. Case be, it is time for a new car. Would this be a notable improvement?

It’s such a great question. Both are so good. They drive a little different. In my opinion the MT10 is a much better value. The MT410 is slightly better and much more tune-able. It’s a subtle difference when you can tune a car to your taste. It’s like a canon camera. I just upgraded from a EOS R to a more expensive Canon. The camera is more expensive and in the right hands you can get more from it. Same concept. You must buy the sway bars for the Mt410. The MT10 comes with them. Some upgrades for Mt410 are ; Precision Durability Low drag drivetrain Chasis Brace Wide wheelie bar Thicker turnbuckles Alum Chasis 4mm shock towers

@ParkflyersRC i here you. However, like you mentioned the benefits comes at a very high cost. The mt10 from factory has the ability to insert different pins in the AB and C blocks for tuning caster and tow where the mt410 would need different ab and c blocks... I would even go as far to say that the mt10 out of the box has more adjustbility . I think the fit and finish of the mt410 is better out of the box but a little work on the mt10, you can get it moving and rolling freely. And then I think another benefit of the mt410.would be that the box setup I think should be tuned better than the box setup for the mt10

Omg I know. Something like an ET48 in fifth scale would be insane. I want an MCD RR5 Max, but don't really have 3k-4k to drop. I would love a 1/5 scale race grade roller or slider that could be picked up for like $1100-1300

I put proline badlands on mine. I own sct 410,.1,.2,.3. The new sct 410 2.0 I do not like at all. I have a castle system with sensored motor. Copperhead.
