Egypt needs to pay reparations to Israel for making them build pyramids & stuff 3500+ years ago. We need a new combination historical and geneological bureau to help find wrongs in the past to "repair". This will result in literally everyone having a claim on multiple people, and whole races, for millions of dollars. Then we can all start paying each other back for what people long dead have done to "us". If we're going to do this, I say let's make it thorough, complete, rigorous, and honest to the bone. It will also turn out that black people owe white people much more than the other way around, and they'll also owe each other, because they enslaved and sold each other more so than white people did. So the best way to handle this is in a sort of "aikido " way - instead of wait for the trouble makers to do it in their skewed & self-interested way, we should lead the charge and insist on going all the way and getting it right for EVERYONE, in all situations, countries, races and nationalities. We don't want to leave any stone unturned, any wrong uncompensated, or any person without their "just" recompense. The answer to the Left's war of half-truths is always the FULL TRUTH.

Love this guy. I am from Poland and noticed something we would call the Polish-polish war, we tend to undermine our impact and achievements. We should be proud of our heritage as Europeans, as much as like Douglas said probably every Chinese or African is proud of theirs. Nothing wrong about a decent dose of conservatism, but the West thinks that everybody has to be left at the moment and tolerate every other culture in our own countries, ridiculous.

@vlastimil-furst-gc Жыл бұрын
@@messybeavz4796 He is a journalist and a writer, not an omniscient wise man Maybe he's wrong about Israel and Palestine. It's quite logical that he stands with Israel though. He defends the Judeo-Christian civilization in most of his books. Now the state of Israel is under attack, and the verbal belligerents are the same as his usual opponents: the radical leftists. From this point alone it would make sense. But that's far from all! With this anti-Jewish sentiment, Jews are being attacked through the west by Muslims. And if the society as a whole sides with Palestine, it will be a signal for the other countries in the region that Israel is alone in that and that it has no allies. Moreover, the hypocrisy of so many of those crying for Gaza is quite apparent as they don't show the same level of compassion to anyone else than Palestinians. The Armenians displaced by Azerbaijani recently? Uygurs in China being victims of (at least cultural) genocide? Syrian and Yemeni civil wars? They don't give a damn. I hope Palestinians will have a better life soon. But it's not a great life under Hamas who does their best to fire their rockets from highly urbanized areas to increase the civilian losses in case of retaliation. Meanwhile the leaders of Hamas live abroad in abundance while regular Palestinians die in a war. Hamas doesn't care about their well-being. Hamas has one purpose and one purpose only: To remove Israel from the map. And the Jews with it, preferably. Is the war campaign a good solution? I don't know. Perhaps not. But is there any good solution proposed by the critics of Israel? I haven't seen a single one so far.

Douglas Murry needs to be more critical in his assessment of what is reaally happening. The globalists are seeking to divide and conquer by causing outrage on both sides. They seek to harness the outrage towards achieving the goals of enslaving humanity once they succeed in implenting their communist agenda. It is well known that the democratic party in the US has been employing race based politics to win elections and also in isolating black people. The democratic party at its core is white supremacist. Remember that the democratic party is the party that owned slaves in the South and its is the party that created the KKK. The democrats were are also known to be the party of lynchings etc. The democrats even started abortion clinics in the US to primarily reduce the population of black.... These satanists, are known for hypocrisy, deception , double standards, projection, gaslighting and predation..Douglas Murry is part of the majority that have swallowed the race bait without thinking...Black people like Ibrahim Kendi are either not smart or are sold out...The number ONE enemy of BLM funded by the cabal is black people. I must admit that I have gotten more and more distressed by this anti western madness. And moreover and to my concern these developments make me more and more aggressive to the point of endorsing violence as a form of self-defence which may be very dangerous and self destructing. I like Douglas, but I think he's missing this one. He is thinking in a binary fashion. Either the Progressives are going to win or the conservatives, but he is competely ignoring the most likely outcome, conquest by a totalitarian regime. That is, violence will ultimately decide and Progressives, or simply a group taking advantage of the idiocy of the Progressives, will sieze power using the police and the military. Think of Stalin or Mao.

@@DrBe-zn5fv Social cohesiveness is always relative. If members of a society are of the same race, they'll find religious differences to separate them. If they are of the same religion they'll find little wrinkles of difference in scriptural interpretation to divide them. The history of Africa or of Europe is a testament to this. The rule of thumb, however, is that the more obvious the differences are (such as physical appearance) the more unmanageable they are. Murray's framing of a "war on the west" is absolute BS and a complete and utter diversion from the insidious dysfunction inherrent to entrenched teetering hierarchies of wealth and power and the imperialistic processes intrinsic to gross inequities within and across societies. I'd argue that one of the main reasons "the West" (whatever that is-he doesn't define what the hell he's actually talking about) is feeling under attack from within is chiefly because the hey day of colonialism and plundering resources and exploiting people abroad is ebbing once again and there's not enough to go around (this time because the planet itself is running out of room/resources capable of sustaining the hyper consumption that the corporate-imperial apparatus has developed to keep itself alive). How about this as an alternative framing? Public services are being eroded in this country such as healthcare, access to justice, worker's rights, education, etc. Likewise public infrastructure, e.g., roads, schools, hospitals. Cost of living are rocketing upwards. Environmental degradation is increasing, such as biodiversity loss, pollution of water and land, soil quality degrading, carbon emissions increasing, etc. That is what is "attacking us". The status quo of gross inequalities, inequities, and injustices, that are inherent to large hierarchies of power, which are entirely dysfunctional when it comes to governing a society (hmmmm, why do all these empires keep collapsing all the time?). Our democratic governance determining our laws and our relationships to the resources/land-rights is in the hands of oligarchs/elites, and we the masses of society have lost so much autonomy over are lives that we are coereced into being hyper consumers, at the same time as being driven to focus our socio-economic behaviour on making money, rather than towards things that are moneterily worthless, but have infinite value and which are necessarry for happy, meaningful lives. Murray's culture war rhetoric is a massive diversion from addressing the root causes of injustice and inequities that are tearing our social fabric, which is entrenched hierarchies of wealth/power and social-political dominance. Those at the top are socially, economically, and environmentally cut-off from the lives of people below them (and vice versa), and the problem is their decisions affect all of our lives in fundamental ways. So let's focus on how to divest our politial system and governance institions from their influence shall we? In my mind, just as efforts were made to divorce the church and state previously (for the same reasons), we now have to focus on ways to both divorce money/wealth-power from the state, as well as undermine these teetering inequalities in the first place.

Excellent interview. At 20:50 , Mr. Murray mentions again "ancestral guilt." As an American whose maternal and paternal ancestors came to Minnesota and Washington State from Scandinavia and Southeastern Europe only *after* the American Civil War - and who therefore participated neither in slavery nor in the liberation of the slaves (war to end slavery) - I am as guiltless (re. the oppression of Black Americans) as someone from present-day North Korea or Bangladesh. Neither of my parents had even SEEN a Black person until they joined the U.S. armed forces and were sent to Germany and India, respectively. It is hence far more likely that a random Black American has ancestors who bear more responsibility (i.e. were culpably involved in the Slave Trade) than I. So shouldn't I therefor be EXEMPTED from demands for reparations and/or RELEASED from the burden of "reverse" discrimination? Serious question!

Oddly enough those who did actually benefit from their ancestors involvement in slavery seem to be busily pushing their feeling of guilt onto ordinary citizens who are being gaslighted into feeling that they should pay reparations. Those who are wealthy enough not to have to pay taxes are creating a situation where the poor will lose even more of their meagre incomes in order to pay those reparations eg foreign aid

Even if these woke were right why has every white person has been lumped into the same bowl? My fathers family were down the mines. My mothers were in service. Neither family had any voting rights. The working class were a persecuted oppressed people (read Orwell’s ‘road to Wigan Pier. It talks about both this middle class Marxist culture and the working class of the 1930s). Therefore why am I and my family being lumped into this privileged white hatred. Orwell talks about the working class being oppressed for at least 2 hundred years previous to his book being published. Therefore how can the whole of a section of society be the problem when they had no power??? And why are the black royal chiefs not being held responsible for slavery? They carried. it on long after the abolition of slavery in this country and the African nations still carry it on today.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.” ~ Taylor Caldwell, A Pillar of Iron
