I hope 2029 is the year the electorate finally abandon both main parties and give Reform the chance to turn the country around.

Nobody mentioning how disrespectful it is of Starmer to call these desperate vulnerable people sausages ? It was fully deliberate.
@clairehalsall1549Ай бұрын
No one with any empathy for the hostages (to be clear:Jews) could call them sausages. Maybe it's an "in joke" with the Labour anti-Semites 🤷♀️
@whitepanties2751Ай бұрын
No it was not deliberate. I don't suppose any relatives or friends of the hostages in Gaza were happy if they heard about it, though.

The comments on Netanyahu are nonsense and claiming the war is being perpetuated after what she has seen is bizarre.

Yeah , Reform have a darn good team , we as a Nation have to get behind them seriously , if we really want a dramatic change with some speed for good old fashioned logic and traditional values we all have to be involved by voting with our feet , c'mon peeps lets do it

To opine that Netanyahu cares more about staying in power than about the hostages is vicious and cruel & pure BS.

Yusuf is very impressive. Reform generally needs to improve the quality of their candidates. I don't want to vote for a local MP who appears to be one up from a neanderthal and the speed that they have had to respond to events sadly has led to some vey unwise candidates. That is their big challenge if they want to succeed. However to my total surprise both my clever, well educated and liberal sons voted Reform in the last election, the party is making inroads into a different demographic

I like Zia, he reminds me of Vivek Ramasmawi who is a leading voice in the US. On the other hand Alison reminds me of Benjamin Netanyahu. Something she would likely take as a compliment.
@sookibeulah9331Ай бұрын
She sounded sympathetic to the criticism of Netanyahu, saying he was dragging out the war and gave a lot time to talking about his critiques.

I just can't believe Zia Yusuf is as patriotic and loyal to our nation as one of our own could be and his decision making process will therefore biased towards his own kind.

Yusef is a businessman, the chairman of Reform Ltd (a company posing as a political party). Yusef presents himself as patriotic, but he is a businessman first. His agenda is not political, it is about profit. Yusef see profit, he doesn't care if he has to work with bigots and racism, money is money to him. My suspicion is that Yusef's true agenda is about more deregulation in the world of business, to strip away consumer protections that would enable business to make more profit. I suspect his grand plan is to help a party get into power and he will want to be the Chancellor as his reward.
