There are 2 ways to look at anything. Hardcore conservative people may feel offended with modernisation of the classical music but the other perspective is that the fusion is bringing visibility and appreciation and revival to the otherwise dying classical music. Both arguments are correct in their own way. As long as the musicians don’t disrespect the composers and compositions, such fusions are acceptable according to me. This is my personal viewpoint, not challenging anyone. Everyone has a right to share views respectfully. 🙏

As world over people listen…youngsters listen and learn … It’s the charanam “raamaa ana - combined becomes raamaayana (not Na) - meaning - “raama means” chapalaakshi - means women (chapalaakshula means women’s) pEru : name Meaning : ‘raama ‘ also refers to women… so, if you by mistake understand ‘raama’ as women, you’ll only end up in kaama etc worldly desires… (kaamaadula gOru vaaru)… vEru (they are different, they are another set of people) raama is also the name for ‘brahmam’.. parabrahmam - that which removes the worldly problems So, telisi raama chintana seyave oh manasa - oh my mind when you think of raama, we should know the meaning and then think of the right raama… How? … talapulu anni nilipi… keep all the thoughts aside… nimishamaina…. Atleast for a minute…. taaraka roopuni… the one who shines like a star.. nija tatvaardhamu… real essense and meaning… telisi raama chintana seyave…Knowing thus, think of him oh my mind. 😊 hope you guys don’t mind the detailed explanation, which I’ve given for the benefit of all.

As the time passes, instead of completely ignoring our classical treasure, youngsters are making an attempt with a bit of experiment with fusion, we should encourage is my strong opinion. When small pronunciation issues happen due to lack of understanding, knowledgeable people should patiently explain. Thats what was done here. Thank you very much. It will be nice if the singer re-records the Kriti with corrections.

Very nice. Specially the Telugu pronunciation is very nice. Please make sure to pay attention to the line “రామాయన బ్రహ్మకు పేరు” (रामायन ब्रह्मकु पेरु) it was wrongly sung as ‘రామాయణ బ్రహ్మకు పేరు’ .(रामायण ब्रह्मकु पेरु) Then the whole meaning changes by mispronouncing one syllable. I loved this performance. That’s the reason giving a constructive feedback. Not criticizing. .
