Sukhothai - Arrival, First Impressions & Exploring (Sukhothai Trip - Video 02)

The Sukhothai Historical Park is not far away from Tak City. Google Maps puts it at 68 kilometers away from the Dome Thong Residence Hotel, where I spent the night.
And with such a short distance to cover by scooter, I arrived with plenty of time to explore Old Sukhothai and get my bearings. I took the time to follow the old city walls and moats around the whole city and see where the main temple ruins and other sites were located.
Once I'd gotten my bearings, I headed to the Orchid Hibiscus Guest House, where a generous Mystery Benefactor had reserved a room for me.

Looks like a nice room. I have never stayed in canopy bed. Looks very aristocratic, but sometimes you have a chance to sleep in style.
