A mate of mine..good Greek Australian boy playing rhythm guitar...we were trying to concoct a band in the garage (next to the big gas stove and a very small pool table) and his Dad came in. "Hallaaoo boys! Evrybodi Kooll? What's heppening, eye? Crook business, eye? HAHAHAH!" (goes) Then his cousins (older cousins, but he had SO MANY....I say this, me...from an Irish family) come in from the back yard. "Hayy boys! You dunno how to do rock music. Watch this! We fuckin' DO rock music" (wrench away our guitars despite our protests and play Kiss's "'God Of Thunder" riff badly for 30mins) Dad sticks his head back in the garage. "You boyys ken shutta fuck up nairw. We got beers. (Cousins exeunt). Kerry on boyys!!" My mate apologised like crazy to me and my oldest friend (I was on bass, my oldest friend was on keys). The guy playing lead (seriously good and I wonder what he is doing these days) was also Greek. And he said.... "Skips.....you've just been Greeked." Around about 1985

She wouldn't let me out of the house to get a bus into Istanbul because I would never find my way home....she would do the feigned heart attack thing..... She was 90...
