If anyone cares about Doug, he’s a pretty cool guy if you save him. Literally just a likable guy, maybe a little odd, but that’s it. During Lily’s outburst, instead of intentionally blowing his brains out, she tries to shoot Ben, but Doug body blocks while trying to pull Ben away. Never did anything wrong, my boy deserved better.

It’s often hard not to side with him a lot! I had to save his son on the introduction to him and I can’t see any good reasons to side with Lilly’s dad on anything besides maybe one hypothetical! I didn’t want Kenny to die even if Jane may have had a point! I felt he had nothing left besides Clem and Aj and I wanted him to feel the accomplishment of bringing them to safety like lee would’ve wanted!

And about that neutral stance with Kenny on if lily’s dad should die! even if Kenny didn’t land the salt lick on him he was going to die even if he wasn’t dead yet because no pills! so it was kinda a choice on what way he should die you could also call it a mercy kill. And Larry was also a danger to most of the group and we didn’t know how long it would take for him to turn after death! so you not choosing Larry to die may have been seen as you possibly putting Clem in danger in Kenny’s perspective. Even if it’s a misinformed perspective.

How? When you turn, you don't suddenly gain superhuman strength. The virus removes the limits your brain subconsciously enforces on your body, but you don't get any stronger as a decaying corpse. Duck IS just a kid, and they were all in a big area with weapons ready. That group of 5+ people is not losing to a little walker boy. Larry is big ass motherfucker who knocked Lee out with one punch. Imagine that type of strength unrestrained, in an enclosed space like a meat locker with *zero weapons* because the farmers took everything. Three adults and a child is going to have a harder time taking that beast down, again, with *zero weapons.*

I mean, with Duck we had more than enough time to clean him up to find a bite before he'd turn if he was actually bitten, + we had weapons and like 9 adults vs a kid zombie if he was. Meanwhile Larry was already down, and we had no weapons, lower numbers (3 adults) and were in a smaller space, + we were on a clock with the fact Katcha and Duck were still out there along with Ben & Carley/Doug. Larry was wanting to kill a child because he was covered in walker blood. Kenny was looking out for the group (+ Larry wasn't exactly useful, and was a ticking time bomb, either with a heart issue, or trying to get us killed again)

Yeah, as good as this game is, it's unfortunate that most of these games have the '*your choice doesn't really matter*' style if gameplay. Act as a complete psychopathic instigator as Lee, still end on the same note with Clem. Choose to help characters to survive? They die like 5 min later. Choose to kill Kenny / Jane at the end of season 2? Kill the other off at the start of season 3 in stupid ways. It's fun, but most 'make a choice' games out there are just railroaded to one single story, making all the choices out there rather meaningless.

In the real world, if you get to the point where someone needs to do CPR on you and you don’t have an AED around to shock them with, that mf is highkey dead. Basically there are two types of zombies, roamers (walkers in the show and games) the standard ones that roam around looking for food, make all kinds of noise and form herds and Lurkers, the lazy ass zombies that just sit around playing dead waiting for a human to make a wrong move.

I feel like Ben, Sarah and some of the kids that are stubborn and annoying are kids who were sheltered or weren’t given a chance to adapt like Clem. I’ve been playing TWD series all over and I see the teens/kids in a different light I still don’t care for them but I realized that they are examples of different types of kids raised in different environments. A good example is how after duck died lee taught Clem how to use a gun while Sarah was kept away from the reality of the world. So when she was hit with the reality she broke, but if Sarah learned the reality before shit hit the fan she could have coped better, we saw how she handled things well if you tell her Pete is dead and how she handled the real world when Clem would tell her the truth but because of her dad being a helicopter parent trying to protect her innocence it is what ended up killing her in the end because her father refused to let her adapt. (there are theories that the reason why he did it was because she had some form of autism and that’s why he was so protective) Ben is also a realistic example of how people would actually be during the apocalypse….everyone wants to say they would be a Rick grimes or lee but not everyone can handle the pressure those characters go through. I think that Ben is misunderstood a bit but that doesn’t mean I’m saying I don’t hate him, but I feel the game makes you feel like he is a burden and that’s why he lashes out because he doesn’t feel like he can do anything right

I dont think anyone hates the kids for being kids. The series as a whole just breeds un likable characters. season 2 is famous for being filled with goofballs, season 3 shot itself in the foot off rip by not making clem playable. getting a decent line up in season 4 was like pulling teeth from telltale tbh. hell now that I think about the games more, I really struggle to find characters that don't bug the hell out of me.

@@Akain777I understand the hate for not getting to play Clem in season 3 and I was quite confused when I realized I wasn’t playing as her! but also she kinda needed a possible other less personal lee to look to a bit and Javi wasn’t that bad after I got used to him I also got invested in the brother to brother story too trying to be a good brother. And I wanted to bring the other children with me to Richmond in season 4 but after hearing what was going on over there at the time I quit the idea and wondered how Javi was doing.

If you don't side with him, with killing Larry, he will never like you or try to be your friend, but if you decide to side with him he will always think of you as a friend and be by your side. It's honestly the only choice in the game that really "matters"

Doug is actually more useful than Carly if you save him. He rigs up a sound-trap for the cannibal farmers who stumble into it when the first come across the motor-inn. This alerts Lee and co to their approach. Granted, he does help himself to some of the rolls they were supposed to be bringing back to the group but then he also attempts to save Ben (Lily is pointing the gun at Ben) and takes a shot for him. Doug is kinda a badass.

Oh, Hell no! If it were any other time/place, I would have Lee help Lilly resuscitate Larry, no problem. But the group is locked in a tiny walk in freezer, no exits, with a 6ft 300lbs man made of muscle who just had a heart attack and isn't breathing. Not taking any chances (especially seeing as Lee's first priority is Clem's safety) - I'm having Lee hold Lilly back while Kenny disposes of Larry. I know Larry dies anyway and the choice is more about who you want Lee to be loyal to; but logically speaking, why would I want to put six (eight if you count Carly/Doug and Ben) lives at risk by taking a chance that Larry could be revived - despite the fact he isn't breathing/his heart has stopped and it doesn't take long to turn when someone dies.
