We and talking about my family ,,my father loveess Tamil and telugu movies definitely Hindi dubbed.. They also think that we have one language that is Hindi...no...we also have Gujarati,Rajasthani,Awadhi and braj - in Uttar Pradesh, pahadi language in Uttarakhand, bhojpuri in Bihar , kashmiri in Kashmir...etc etc. We too have our native languages and all are different from one another but mainly everyone knows Hindi ,, so yes they think all is Hindi and to some extent they are right also...
