All Koreans knows how to behave in temples and know what clothes to wear. This is TV and 100% scripted. If they had broadcasted how people really do behave at these temples none would watch it because it would be too boring. Personally I don't like how they personate Dongeun as a stupid brainless woman that only thinks about food, especially meat. It's kind of tacky and kinda sexist, but at the same time people seem to enjoy her playing that role.

The discount thing is a little annoying to watch, but the eating thing is more understandable. That's just the size of their stomach (they bulk a lot so the sheer amount of food they consume is larger), and hunger isn't a thing you can really control. For many it's not a feeling they are used to either.

I have friends that are body builders eat like them but if it is religious or even with group outing their will always share and take one serving before taking another. This is the basic manners everyone should have. Even if they want more they would ask, "maybe i have this or does anyone still want?" I am brought up this way too. By the way no hate or anger. I just want to share. Because really this is basic of the basic. All parents have taught us since young. To share ,be humble , be respectful etc.

It kind of is though? A vacation is literally a trip away from your normal everyday life. People do Temple stays for a variety of reasons. Some do it for the experience and it can be relaxing. A bunch of tourists literally go there every year. Some Temples even market themselves as such. The muscle crew's etiquette may not have been up to par but it's a learning experience for them.

My wording may be due to the fact that while I’m not that religious, I live in a religious family and temple stays are not really associated with the word “vacation” - though it technically is one. To us, the word “vacation” is a time of indulgence, fun, and lightheartedness. However, temple stays do not have those meanings in our family. It is rather a time of solemness, self reflection, and enlightenment. With that said, my original point still stands. The muscle crew are adults, and I do think they should have the maturity to be considerate of the people in the temple and keep a temporary rein on their desires.

I feel like I need to dislike this episode, they are disrespecting the monk as well as the temples rules, they talked to much and they are murmuring while in front of the monk, She is indeed funny but you need to limit sometimes, and you must know when and where to act properly. Even a kid knows how to obey rules, you are all grown up now. Table manners as well, why are you pouring the soup directly into your bowl in front of others specially in front of the monk, it looks barbaric, and not because she says okay means IT IS OKAY, we know you are a big eater but PLEASE, have some consideration that you are at the temple and someone is waiting for you to finish. Being in a temple means refreshing every thing. If they serve you this amount of food be thankful for that food, don’t ask for more wait for them to give you more. After a few episodes I guess most people that watched earlier episodes will know she is actually a "slow witted" person. For these people they ask when they have doubt. Unless she is practically acting innocent in past episodes I think her behaviour is still in acceptable range. Mind guys she isn't doing those acts for the laugh, she is asking when she doubts just like she asked the monk if she's mad. This is what then so called "slow witted" people do. So be considerate. And this is supposed to be their first temple stay, you don't expect a veteran behaviour from a beginner. And for those saying they feel disgusted by her, I suggest you drop the show. They are not kpop idol so they actually don't really care about popularity. So take it or leave it, it's a commons human being behaviour you're seeing right there.

Forget Dugeun, her boss is the worst. Should've given her tips before going in, but he literally haggled for prices at a temple like it was a market, started eating barbarically to the point the monk had to scold him and started bothering Dugeun for food. It's his responsibility as their leader to make sure they're all well behaved but he just went there to eat so thats how things turned out. If Dugeun's actions aren't scripted and thats actually how she is then she needed someone from her team to let her know when she should or shouldn't say things, it might help her make better decisions but none of them give a shit, they're waiting for her to make a fool of herself.

the less senior workers seemed fine and polite, the actress also, with the man politely asking if he can sit in a different position because physically it will hurt them but dongeun and the boss omg i was never a big fan of the boss because how can somebody be so openly cheap?? I get not wanting to waste electricity on unused tvs but skimping on ac and especially food wow. i would hate to work for him from seeing him on this show. in my opinion, employees must really have aggravations against their boss to publicly complain about him on tv knowing he will know everything like they do. i was so dumfounded by him coming to a place of worship and trying to haggle for a discount. like it's a humble place with already modest prices, how much more do you want?? and dongeun omg. i enjoyed seeing her food-crazed fool acts before but not anymore. she too, like the boss, needs to know her place and how to act in different places. she is a grown up. i am a little more than half her age and i don't live in korea nor am i buddhist (not that I know if she is but the point is there is so many more Buddhists in her country than my America) but I know about the basic rules and mannerisms at temples. but okay fine, let's say she truly doesn't know, well then she should educate herself and prepare for going to a temple for the first time. places of worship by no means should be treated so offhandedly. also this is not just about the temple, but she needs to care for others more. she so easily took all the mushrooms and then asked to get more side dishes. perhaps you should have done that after everyone took?? i would hate to share a meal or even a table with her because of her clear disregard for her coworkers. you adjust to the standards and rules of your surroundings, not the other way around wow this turned into a rant but i felt so much anger and disrespect on the admission person's and monk's behalf. i don't like knetz for the most part because they go overboard but i do hope they make dongeun and the boss realize their wrongdoings

while i agree with what you said about dongeun, i think we should give the boss a little break here for his "cheapskate" thing. when you're paying for a lot of people by yourself, especially in this case where they are all trainers that require extreme amount of food consuming, including dongeun herself that eats for like 10 people just alone without any consideration for others, adding with the payments he has for personal things like taking care of his mother, house, tax, bills, the gym and even he said before they got to the temple, they spent a lot on transportation, etc. that's one hell of money spending right there. even if you're not usually like that, the saving instinct jumps out. stuffs like discounts and all you can eat restaurants all the time is just really a smart thing to do in this case. especially when the temple itself does give out discount options, it's normal to ask for it and not too bad to negotiate for any possible ways to reduce the tremendous amount of money if you don't want to see that precious floating away. the employees might don't get it, but when if they were in the boss shoes, they might be sweating if they have to pay for a lot of peeps that eat a lot of food. and on a daily basic as a part of responsibility.
