He never stops, we know..As much you go into his covers you will see...The guy just changing whole drumm world

The levers to change mode are at the back left and back right of the main pedal. You switch to single mode by hitting the left lever, and switch to double mode when you hit the right lever, both times he is using his heel to engage each mode. That is hard enough to do on it's own, even if you are doing some thing relatively conventional and easy with your hands as the timing has to be precise each time, and with the double mode, the pedal doesn't spring back quite in the same way making it more difficult to retain the same consistency with the bass. The fact he's changing modes, whilst using 3 sticks, and doing some pretty complicated other stuff is just mind melting to me. I can play drums, I am not a drummer, but I can tell you with my limited knowledge and ability that what he's doing isn't just next level, it's a whole other planet. It's his musicality and orchestration that really sets him apart. There are other drummers who are technically proficient enough to be able to play this, with practice, but who else would come up with this cover in the first place. That's what really makes the difference. It goes without saying that he's one of the best technically I've ever seen, his consistency, speed and accuracy are awesome.

How can he be super confused by that?😂 can clearly see how he does it
@bartonbagnes46056 ай бұрын
Undeniably he is unbelievable. It looks like it's on both sides of the heel, outside turns on the double, then he hits the instep side to turn it off again. If you look at the back of the pedal you can see part of it slide out when he reaches his foot off the outside of the pedal, and the back of the pedal slides back in when he taps the instep side of his foot. I hope that's clear enough to understand.

The duelist pedal is known for defeating many drummers because it's so tricky. EES mastered it while doing crazy stuff with his hands. He amazing technically, but also so tasty musically. Then there's the entertainment value he provides so well. Crazy good!

He has a whole video on the dualist pedal and how it works.

The Weekend has a singer, drummer, keyboardist\guitar and keyboardist. To analyze what Jorge is doing and why you need to listen for the non-strong pulses of the melody meter that each instrument and the singer provides. Each instrument plays its own part to to create the meter of the melody. If all that's heard is the strong pulse of the meter might as well listen to the drumming in the original song.

The driving force behind this song is its incredible energy. At the moment I'm loving Nick Thurl Mavromatis' new song, you should definitely react to it!

It just amazes how much he does with a relatively simple kit. That duelist pedal is the only trick part of this one.

There is young prodigy you should check out. She is Yoyoka Soma of Japan. At the age of 8 Yoyoka entered the contest "Hit Like a Girl" covering Led Zepplin's "Good Times Bad Times. She won that weeks contest receiving rave reviews from Robert Plant among others. At the age of 11 Yoyoka was named by the publication Drummers World to its list of 500 greatest drummers, making Yoyoka the youngest person to be so honored. Also that year Yoyoka was awarded a visiting professorship to a Tokyo university. Yoyoka was lucky enough to be born into an extremely musical family and has been playing the drums since just after learning to crawl. Yoyoka turned 14 earlier this year. The following is her cover of ~ Tower of Power - What is Hip? / Drum Covered by YOYOKA ~ kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zqm3nIuQir51fNk Another mind blowing cover ~ Sting - Seven Days / Drum Covered by YOYOKA ~ kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zn6qqYluZZ2bqpo
