Temporal resolution is the ability to accurately detect and display real-time movement in the ultrasound image. It is measured by the number of b-mode image frames per second, aka, frame rate. Frame rate is measured in Hertz. Temporal resolution is effected by line density, FOV size, imaging depth and number of focal zones per A-line. All of which is covered in this video.

Not sure if the question banks are for you?
If you're here, you're likely studying for a radiology physics exam. I've spent the last few months collating past papers from multiple different countries selecting the most commonly asked questions. You'll be surprised how often questions repeat themselves!
The types of questions asked in FRCR, RANZCR AIT, ARRT, FC Rad Diag (SA), ABR qualifying Core Physics and MICR part 1 are surprisingly similar and the key concepts remain the same throughout. I've taken the most high-yield questions and answered them in video format so that I can take you through why certain answers are correct and others are not.
Happy studying,
Michael

You are a lifesaver. I am been on tour videos for a week now and I have learnt so much. Please can do something on harmonics? Thank you

Hi Imalma. Glad the videos are helpful. Definitely doing a video on harmonics. Hopefully before the end of next week (I’m on holiday for a few days this weekend). Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

I ended in your videos trying to understand how to improve my medical ultrasound images. My background so is certainly not very goog in maths, decades ago in my education. I just have to say thank you very much...and how about a video or series about that topic, improving ultrasound images?. Thanks again for your time and expertise.
