Here's a tip I forgot to mention! When it comes to any kind of hair color, temporary wax included, refrain from squeezing the product into your locs. It's best to coat your locs instead. That way it's easier to wash the product all the way out, avoiding product buildup and chemicals (from permanent dye especially) from weakening your locs. Also, the link to purchase is in my description. This company is called Hair Paint Wax and remember that not all temporary wax colors are created the same. This is the only brand of color wax I've tried but have heard bad stories about a couple of other brands.

First of all want to say looking gorgeous lady✌🏽I used hair wax on my locs too and my locs go down to my butt also. The only problem I had was after about 1 week in my hair I had to wash it out because it made my head itchy. To be fair I did use mofajang wax. I am going to try this wax and see if I get the same results. Thanks for the informative info as always. 👍🏽🤗🙏🏽

@@tynaedaniel7240 I only use it on the top of my head because I was covering Gray. I slept with a head cap which did cause some bleeding but not much. Only reason I wouldn't recommend is because after one day my head was itchy and it only last a few days. If its for a one night event and wearing dark clothes or halloween then yes. I can’t find any ppl with locs on that page... a lot of loose naturals but no locs! Mysteek Naturals hair paint I see many ppl with locs on their IG and KZbin reviews. Wax is the first ingredient of their product but it’s only one type of wax and a total of 3 ingredients.

I love this stuff. I just purchased the gold wax paint on Tuesday and it came within two days. The day it came into the mail, I washed my hair and tried it on me and my mom & we love it. I also purchased hair wax paint from that Mofojon (if I'm spelling it correctly) on Amazon or Wal-Mart. I haven't tried there's out yet. But I am feeling it. I want to try the wax paint that has no color in it which is the styler. But I do want to try their other colors out. Everyone loves my hair color too. ☺

Thank you so much!!! My preteen wanted to colour her locs blue until I explained the dangers of me bleaching her locs. Don't get me wrong I bleach mine but I also know what my hair can take. I only bleach once a year. But I saw this and was wondering if it would show up on her locs. Thank you. Now we can play with colour without damaging her hair. I'm happy that there are options now that don't require the risk

I think most people use the wax on dry hair so that the color is more vibrant that way. Also you don’t have to worry about drying time as much.

Kendall W nope, the directions say wet hair. If you use it on dry hair it won’t distribute well and I’m sure buildup would be a concern.

I used a product like this and it said your hair should be 80% dry so I applied it on damp hair not wet hair. I rinsed mine out with conditioner because I washed my dreadz a day before Xx
