Temporary fix for Horn, blinkers, brake light not functioning on Honda Fit

I just replace this today. The fuses on the left next to the one you solder is your EPS electronic power steering. My wife car flash steering wheel with exclamation sign. The fuse was oxide and broke. I had to replace it from the dealer. Thank God they have it . Once I replace it. My wife was so happy 😊 make my day.

thanks so much sir. has a similar issue and, although there's no fuse, a terminal in the + terminal was loose. once tightened the problem was fixed and i restored my dad credibility.

good work with the soider. I may have wedged a wad of aluminum foil that I wrapped my peanut butter sandwich in from lunch in the blown fuse compartment. How much was the fuse?

Very helpful video !! Before watching this, I got as far as checking the related fuses under the dash only to discover there was no power going to them. For my 2010 Fit Base Model with manual transmission, the replacement part number from Honda is: 38210-TK6-003

Thanks so much for posting this video. Had the exact same problem on my Honda Fit. I used this technique and it worked. In the process of removing the clear plastic fuse cover I ended up cracking it, but I just taped it together for the time being, until the replacement part comes in. How hard is it to change out the part once I receive it? Any tips you could kindly share?

Did you get a new one? Mine did exactly like this but the fuse was on the far left. I'm out of the USA, so the part could get here in like 2 months from now. Do this work for that amount of time? Hope you alright. Cheers.

Thank you for uploading this video. How were you able to remove the clear viewing window? Mine seems fixed in a way that requires too much force to remove without breaking it.

I used a thin metal file to pry it open and push it off the plastic fuse cover and pushed it backward laterally towards the windshield

Only downfall is that battery terminal has to be connected to the alternator, which is in a hard spot to access after jacking the car up.

Thanks for this. Our 2012 had this strange set of symptoms. I found your video after I diagnosed the problem but was glad to see you soldered a fix. I did that also. I'm satisfied it will be permanent and intend to cover the vulnerable bits with grease. Turn the fucking engine off
